With the following subs already penciled in: - Kovacic for Barkley, 70th minute - Pedro for Willian, 75th minute - Giroud for Higuain, 80th minute Team manages itself really.

April 1, 20197 yr Keppa Azpi Ruigier Luiz Emerson/Alonso (I'm indifferent to those two) Kante RLC Barkely CHO/Willian Higuain Hazard I'm over Jorginho being an automatic starter, its not necessarily his fault but the team needs a different approach in the midfield, Kante provides that. RLC and Barkely provide more attacking thrust than Kovacic CHO deserves a start, not necessarily better than Willian this season but provides a changeup that we need.
April 1, 20197 yr Kepa Azpi Christensen Luiz Emerson Jorginho Kante RLC Pedro Hazard CHO Rudiger dropped after his disaster-class at the weekend. Could easily have given away a penalty and received a red on another day. Think a cool and calm head like Christensen next to Luiz works well. Emerson restored to the side to add some pace to the full back position too. Kante back in because he's Kante, doesn't really need much explanation. RLC needs more starts to his name. Offers so much more than any of our other midfielders in that position and it baffles me how a limited footballer like Barkley seems to be first choice. Mixed it about a bit up top. Last game Higuain was dropping deep and playing like a number 10, if that's the case may as well stick Hazard there and allow a bit of creativity. By doing that we can afford to play both CHO and Hazard at the same time. Pedro to offer the defensive work rate Sarri seems to like from his wingers. Having said this, i expect to see: Kepa Azpi Rudiger Luiz Emerson Jorginho Kante Kovacic Willian Higuain Hazard
April 1, 20197 yr Judging by yesterday's lineup, it would seem that Sarri deems fatigue to be a potential issue and is taking steps to prevent it. Based on that, you would deduce (hope?) that we'll see the following: -----------------------Kepa Azpilicueta-----Rudiger-----Luiz------Emerson ----------------------Jorginho ----------------Kanté------Loftus-Cheek Hudson-Odoi----------------------------Hazard -------------------Higuain/Giroud
April 1, 20197 yr Based on the performances yesterday I would go for: Kepa, Emerson, Christensen, Rudiger, Azpilicueta, Kovacic, Kante, Loftus-Cheek, Hazard, Giroud, Hudson-Odoi So I fully expect the team to be: Kepa, Emerson, Luiz, Rudiger, Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic, Hazard, Higuain, Willian
April 1, 20197 yr After seeing Rudiger's gaffes on MOTD, it would be wise to rest him for a couple of games and bring in Christensen. Refs will now be looking at Rudiger.
April 1, 20197 yr Expect the usual line up and usual flow of events, we will be chasing the game with 15-20 to go. I'm sure Brighton knows how to defend with 2 lines of 4 around the box, easy game.. for them.
April 1, 20197 yr we are beeing trashed all over for an offside goal yet we were robbed of so many this year. and the first pulling for penalty yesterday was done by gunnarsson so f**k EM ALL I don' feel sorry at all. how many games did refs 'won' for darlings and how many for us this year? f**king one. and daily fail has more articles about our game yesterday than another f**king scousers god sent win. April 1, 20197 yr Kepa Azpi Christensen Luiz Emerson RLC Jorginho Kante CHO Higuain Hazard Giroud to come on and score in 92 mins. 1 - 1
April 1, 20197 yr Brighton are not a good side and at home we should be putting them away with few problems. That said, they are in danger of being involved in a relegation battle whilst also having an eye on an FA Cup semi-final this coming weekend. Anyway, I hope the starting line-up is along the lines of: Kepa Azpi Christensen Luiz Emerson RLC Kante Barkley CHO Giroud Hazard With that line-up we'll win comfortably, reckon 5-0 at least! Then keep the same side for West Ham at the weekend and another 5-0. Edited April 1, 20197 yr by Nibs

April 1, 20197 yr I hope we would see something like this: Kepa Azpi christensen Luiz emerson Kante barkely RLC CHO Giroud hazard Though if ampadu started in place of Barkley I would be happy too.
April 1, 20197 yr I hope we would see something like this: Kepa Azpi christensen Luiz emerson Kante barkely RLC CHO Giroud hazard Though if ampadu started in place of Barkley I would be happy too.For a home game against Brighton, that midfield is perfect. Ampadu for Barkley will make more sense if its an away game. The reason why we struggle to score most times against small teams that pack the bus is because most of our starting midfielders (Kante, Kovacic, Jorginho) can't consistently create chance or score goals. If we start a home game against any average team with at least two of the above players starting in the midfield or even Ampadu included, Hazard will have to be at his best for us to get a win. I think Sarri should find a way to include Willian in our midfield options so CHO can have more game time on the wing. A midfield of Willian, RLC and Jorginho/Kante will be more creative and adventurous than any midfield selection we have ever tried this season.
April 1, 20197 yr Another must win game again. Seems this season every game is. Ah well come on chels.
