You could make the same argument for Christensen. Looked awesome up until that Barca game a few years ago, never been at that level again

Yep!  Tomori was also looking really good up until the last 15 mins in the game at Lille when he made that careless pass and he hasn't been the same either.  All in the head. Some sportsmen/women are mentally strong enough to shrug off bad mistakes while others dwell on them and let it affect their perfrmances.

I literally think thats what it is, its all mental. I mean the ability is clearly there as they have performed at high levels previously against good opposition, but these constant errors and mistakes that are in their game.. Its all mental, and I just don't think i can hack it.

It is in this article. I’m not sure I can screenshot it and post it since it’s a paid article - I don’t want to get the site in trouble. 

Basically, it’s talking about him being subbed after the hour mark against Bournemouth with a poor display and how he was out of position for their second goal to make it 2-2’ an “observer” (so basically any random at the game) told them that Lampard was heard shouting things like “wake up” throughout the game. Then references a Lampard presser where he talked about selections and saying Fik has a long career with us ahead.

 

The fact they don’t name who told them and they said throughout the contest and ‘in his direction’ could have been the defence in general for all we know. It doesn’t sound like he’s shouted his name specifically and told him to wake up.

 

Also as a side note for anyone; the athletic is brilliant for Chelsea news and their weekly podcast is really good too. They’ve usually got deals on as well, I think I paid like £15 for a full year or something ridiculous like that. - just if anyone’s on the fence 😀 I also have a couple of 30 day passes I think if anyone wants to try it out.

I’ve been tempted to subscribe a few times but the novelty will wear off after five minutes and I’ll not bother to cancel. 
 

Tomori was back on the bench last game, would it be a gamble to use him with only 4/5 must win games left? Maybe his pace would be useful at the weekend?

Yeah I think it’s too much of a gamble, he’ll be really rusty. May as well just save him for next season

Greece aren't on the quatentine list so if they're quarantining they have either got it, have been in close contact with a positive case or been to a bar/restraunt/hotel where an outbreak has occured. Terry and Drogba were out there with them so will be interesting to know if they have to isolate too.

Emerson, Michy, Jorginho and Barkley are also isolating apparently.
