Look like Arsenal will be short of numbers after they just got rid of Mikatarian, not an exceptional player but nevertheless proven first team player. They got Pepe ( who hasn't fired yet) at the expense of 2 regular players, one injury to that front 3 and they are pretty short. I have no idea what happened with the likes of Matic, Fred etc at United, there are some expensive players over there not even getting a cameo

Mikatarian was player I rated, just didn’t seem to have what it takes for EPL.

Make of this what you will. Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest though. Ole is not upto the job. Bar the “new manager bounce” he had at the start, he’s done nothing to warrant getting it permanently.

They might be right yet he would follow a succession of managers that seemed to have under achieved;

Moyes, LVG, Mourinho so the question would be where do they go from here?

Barring the players stop playing I cannot see him going before Christmas.

I can't help suspect they have a mole in their set up, the strange sacking of LVG getting to the press on the day of his FA Cup win and Mourinho complaining about his pre-match tactics being on the web. There is something not right at the club and I'm not talking about the Glazers.

They are certainly in a tough place. I’m not an expert but it seems the Glazers want profit over success and it’s something that all of the managers have struggled with. It will have an impact. 

They spent a decent amount and James and Wan Bisakka look like good signings for them. 

OGS will likely be the scapegoat though if it does continue to go wrong.

Not necessarily a rival - indeed a club to whom we've loaned players - but another great gesture from Vitesse Arnhem to remember those from the British Airborne Division who fought and died at Arnhem during Operation Market Garden. Particularly poignant as this year is the 75th anniversary of Operation Market Garden. A Great Uncle of mine was killed during Operation Market Garden and is buried at Valkenswaard War Cemetery. He wasn't in the Airborne Division but was a Sarjeant in the Highland Infantry. Five years ago I visited the Cemetery: very moving.
