We have wasted quite a few good openings already in this first half. Two or three down the left and the one Azpi just put out for a goal kick. Definite signs that we can take 3 points here if we can just find that cutting edge in their box.

Happy with that this is a very good side. Rode our luck a little but created a few chances ourselves.

I can’t watch this match so haven’t seen the disallowed goal, but Mathew Upson says his foot was offside. Or maybe he meant to say he was a foot offside. In any case, if Mathew Upson says it’s offside then that’s all I need to hear,

We look knackered and out of ideas. Tammy needs a rocket up his arse, it’s a thankless job as a lone striker sometimes but you’ve still got to work your arse off!

I just want to see the yank.  But he isn't playing well.

We really need to improve our decision making in the second half and we can take 3 points here. We are more than matching Ajax until that final third and the decision making is letting us down. It’s so frustrating.

 

Having said that, this is a very good performance, we are playing against champions league semi finalists. These are no mugs and we can beat them if we make the right decisions in the second half.

Our play honestly would be fine if CHO would do better with his final ball. 

Good thing that we didn't concede in the first half. If we just can improve the decision making and continue to exploit the space I think we can get something from this game.
