Problem with that is, Barkley is our wide player, our fastest player in that front 3 is Mount and Mount isn't the fastest. 

Neuer looks shaky here, about their only player that looks a bit ropey.

Kovacic's powerful runs is going to be key to us scoring if we stick to these tactics and players

for me only Barkley looks really out of his depth here. it's as though this is beyond his level - in contrast the younger, less experienced guys all look like they can compete and will gain from these experiences

A very respectable performance first half, let'd hope we can keep it up

Bit of a lesson for large parts of that half but encouraging improvement in last 10 minutes. Sometimes they are just simply too good for us but some quality from us, especially through Kovacic.

Caballero again justifying his selection. Mount struggling against a phenomenally quick full back and Barkley just looks totally outclassed and out of his depth. Rudiger and Christensen looking good so far.

Despite his iffy form of late I'm thinking Willian would be a good idea. We need more pace on the break.

I think he's better than what he's showing, just being hindered by the occasion

Bizarre first half. Very open. 

Tactically we've been bossed and yet... we've still had our own chances. 

Bayerns pressure on our build up has been very impressive and they have very effectively had Muller and Lewandowski drop into space between midfield and defence to draw us out of our shape. 

Hang on in their boys, we might just pinch this one yet!

Not an enjoyable half to watch. We had a few decent moments, but we were so sloppy at times that we could easily already be out of the tie because of it. 

Only around 35% possession but I feel that we made so many passes foward anyway.
