March 11, 20206 yr I'm certain it will still be televised. I wonder what difference a crowd makes. I've done public speaking to audiences as large as 500 and also run a specialised podcast with 5000 downloads an episode. I enjoy the podcast just as much as the live performance. Lighting Hopkins hated playing live and he had a brilliant feel for the blues.

They're pretty awful tbh, I've watched a few international games where the fans have been banned and it's so strange watching it. But it will definitely work in our favour, a big home atmosphere can be terrible to play against and Bayern have one of those, the Germans have huge atmospheres.

Never say never look what Liverpool did to Barca last year, if we are bang on it we are a team that can score, we scored 4 goals last game and the two games previously dominated last years CL finalists and scored 4 into them collectively. It’s certainly a long shot but if we get an early goal we can start to dream and I’m sure that ms what frank will demand. At the very least we can play with no fear and that was our problem last game far too nervous not relaxed on the ball at all, we’ve nothing to lose and their home crowd advantage us gone let’s not totally write us off just yet.
March 11, 20206 yr We've always had the odds stacked upon us in the seasons where we won trophies. Even the 2012 season, that Napoli side almost killed our hopes and we beat them then. No reason why we can't win. We have 90min to turn the tie on it's head
March 11, 20206 yr If anyone watched the Valencia/Atalanta game last night, you will know how weird it is to play a match with no fans. Feels strange listening to the players shouting at each other and the silence when a goal goes in.
March 11, 20206 yr There is no point in top level football matches without fans. As a punishment for home/away fans to be banned for bad behavior I get it. However this is not the case here and the game should not go ahead imo.
March 12, 20206 yr I reckon a game without a home crowd anything could happen. Bigger comebacks have happened in the CL. With no Lewa for them and other injuries who knows. We'll get it a good crack.
March 24, 20206 yr Author European finals postponed, talk about a mini tournament in June. Quote It is still hoped to play the respective finals on 27 June and 24 June, potentially at the end of mini tournaments to be played in Istanbul and Gdansk. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52012053

Instead of a mini tournament we should insist on a micro tournament, 2 minutes each half, no keepers. Should get the whole tournament done in about 15 minutes.

July 10, 20206 yr Wowww.....it's been so long, didn't even realize Chelsea is still in the CL round of 16. Let's make miracle happens.
July 10, 20206 yr This football without fans, with artificial sound, is so unpleasant. All the decisive games of the Champions League, played on an empty field, in a Lisbon with a hot climate and with sprouts of covid on all sides. Is this really worth it? All for television and money. I can't watch any games other than Chelsea right now. There is no salt.
