that incident sums up this bunch of cheating c**ts

Don't... That incident had me outraged for days. The worst penalty decision I've seen in a long time, all while under VAR.

Absolutely disgusting. Not only that, it changed the game, Villa were getting into it and looked the most likely to score.

So while I agree with you all that

1) Fan surveys are completely meaningless when not related to an individual team,

2) Recency bias is an issue in quite a lot of 'historical' football analysis,

3) Fernandes is a cheating little sh*t,

I do think he has been fantastic since he joined Man Utd, a real inspirational/talismanic/whatever figure, and it is certainly not unreasonable to argue that he's been the most effective player in the league since he signed for them.

The BBC just did a poll asking who was the best ever January signing........Bruno Fernandes won it 😐

So a guy that has won nothing is ahead of the likes of Van Dijk, Suarez, Vidic, Evra and Cahill. There is so much recency bias from football fans these days. Bruno Fernandes is being overhyped as much as Van Dijk has been for the past few years.

Yes, it was a shocker. I don't blame the ref, who only had the one look at it, and back then they were not going over to the screen to review it. The VAR official watched all the available angles which showed there was no foul by the defender, and still upheld the ref's decision.

Actually blame the referee, apparently that decision wasn't reviewed due to the referee decision. I'm pretty sure that's what happened because I remember being absolutely baffled at how VAR got that wrong, it turns out VAR didn't even get a chance to look at it. What annoyed me more was how bias the punditry was, Gary Neville quiet as a mouse, Evra and Keane in the studio "Look it wasn't a penalty but that was sloppy defending, that's what good players do to you", f**king Sky Sports all over for you.

Liverpool and United get this type of protection because punditry boxes are littered with their former players, if that was us, we would've got nailed to a cross.

Big 6 points dropped by Sheff united against WBA, least looks like it will be. Had they won these two games which they really should have they would still have a slim chance.

How we made Luiz look like a decent CB will always be a mystery to me.

Played with 2 actual defenders either side of him ha ha...

They very much deserved to turn that around. Good second half. Hope they stay up. Not likely but I guess not impossible.

9 man Arsenal lose. Let's see what the saints can do.
