I hate these thrashings, irrespective of the team giving and receiving ! - Just not what the game is about. The team scoring 9 really can't revel in their glory so you just end up feeling bad for the team on the receiving end

Unless we do it to Spurs tomorrow, then I am a complete hypocrite

Doesn't work like that, Spurs were ahead of City not long ago now fast forward less than 2 months we have a chance to go above the former while the latter is miles away.

United are streaky, if we put a run together we'll have every chance of catching them although we will likely need to beat them at home and minimum get a point Thursday.

That isn't really a good comparison. This would suggest we can go on as good of a run as City, something we are clearly not capable of doing this season. Also, City were never 11 points behind like we were, they were always within touching distance because of their game in hand.

Just seen the dive from Martial, absolutely disgusting especially considering his team was 100-0 up at the time.

Mike Dean is an arrogant bastard, get this f**ker out of the PL.

Ha ha, quality. I do like Dyche to be fair, hes much more fun than a lot of managers. He has his moments too obviously.

Can we request that Anthony Taylor no longer referees our FA Cup Finals?

I think this is more about making a point, than any realistic expectation that their request will be granted. The flood gates will be well and truly blown open if it is upheld ...

All very interesting all the same !

City lead already.

Let's see if Fulham can do themselves, and us, favours against Leicester.

Much rather see Brighton and Newcastle sucked down with WBA and for Fulham and the blades to escape. Not likely but you never know

Answer to the favour is no. Fulham as useless as we were at Leicester.

Looks like we’ll be 9 points behind Leicester when we play Spurs. We really do need to beat Spurs now.

Yeah Fulham lack the quality to come back against Leicester.

Leicester have looked good so far this season however Brendan Rodger sides tend to fade in the latter part of the season, hopefully we see the pattern repeat itself this season.

I see everyone's rolling over for our rivals.....this is going to be tough to make the top 4 unless we go on a decent run.

We can’t expect all our rivals to get beat every match day like they were at the weekend... :laugh2:

Not sure if I read this on this forum or somewhere else but I would actually pay BT Sport extra to include a button to mute any ex Liverpool player turned commentator.

This was my idea from the match day thread and I want all the credit please.
