Was always gonna be 0-0.

And see Palace managed to break down that Wolves defence and didn't need to make 821 passes to do so!

Yeah that Wolves results is as poor as any other we have had this season. I believe that means they have take 3 points from either 21 or 24 since they beat us. Shameful.

So United still don't have a win against the traditional top 6 in the league and have scored 1 goal in that run and that goal was in the 6-1 hammering to Spurs.

Were he Chelsea manager he would be sacked lol.

Only saw about half an hour in the second half on a poor stream but noticed in that time a couple of cowardly Harry Kane type challenges backing in to someone heading the ball.

Both involved Lacazette of Arse and Pogba and Maguire. Both looked dangerous and I don’t think cards were handed out in either case.

IMO these are dangerous challenges and should be an automatic Yellow.

Did he finally manage to get one above head height of the closest opposition player?

He did once anyway. Problem was it was above everyone else's head height too

Will probably take someone getting seriously hurt before something is done to cut it out.

When kane did it, instead of being called out for being the dirty bastard he is, he gets called clever. Only natural that other players were gonna start doing it after seeing him get away with it.

VAR is a joke, but the refs are an even bigger joke. People have always suspected the refs were the problem and people kept making excuses for them and saying they needed help, that is why VAR was bought in. But instead of helping the refs, VAR has just exposed them.

Southampton absolutely cheated by VAR tonight.

Just watched it on MOTD, shocking VAR decision for the offside.

Great finish by Barkley.

Southampton looked good, deserved something from the match.

Southampton should have also been awarded a penalty for a handball by a Villa defender as clear as daylight. VAR reviewed it and decided not a penalty. The defender went to the ball with the hand intentionally, ref did not see it but I’m amazed how the VAR officials did not give it. It’s a farce.

Well I'm bored of saying this now but VAR is an absolute joke.

Every bleeding week it is the same sh*t. We used to complain about the refs but not to this degree. Honestly it really spoils the game for me now.

Apparently the handball rule was revised and now states that if the ball deflects  off any part of the body onto the hand then it shall not be handball. There was a slight deflection of the defenders thigh onto the hand.
That was a handball all day long IMO. Joke.

Not a rival but discontent amongst Marseille fans. Looks like AVB will be out of a job come the end of the season. Frightening for the players, the behaviour of the supporters.

Marseille's match at home to Rennes in France's Ligue 1 was postponed after violent scenes at their training ground on Saturday.

Local police say that 300 Marseille supporters "violently attacked" officers at the training centre. There were 25 arrests.

Seven police officers were injured.

There have been a number of protests in recent weeks by Marseille fans about the way the club is being run, on and off the pitch.

Supporters briefly broke into the training facility on Saturday afternoon, with the side seventh in Ligue 1 after three successive defeats. The match against Rennes was scheduled to take place at 20:00 GMT.

In a statement on Saturday, Marseille said the club "strongly condemns the unacceptable attack", and that it "endangered the lives of those present on site". They called the actions of those involved "irresponsible and unacceptable".

Marseille estimated the damage caused would amount to "several hundreds of thousands of euros".

Jacques-Henri Eyraud, Marseille's president, said: "What happened this afternoon calls for the greatest severity for these troublemakers who claim to be supporters but destroy facilities and threaten employees and players."

Club captain Steve Mandanda added: "Today's events sadden me and are unacceptable. We are football players and a sports crisis can in no way justify such a surge of violence."

Local police tweeted: "300 OM [Marseille] supporters violently attacked police officers present to secure La Commanderie [the training centre]."

They added that reinforcements were sent "to put an end to the damage".

Manager Andre Villas-Boas led the club to second in Ligue 1 last season but said on Friday he was unlikely to get a contract extension beyond June and was set to leave at the end of the present campaign.

"It looks like the end," said the Portuguese. "I think it'll all be over in June.

"I'm demanding nothing because looking at where we are it wouldn't be right. And I think everyone agrees with that.

"I can't see an extension materialising.

"The place needs a clear-out including myself, unless I get 10 straight wins maybe not. But I'm responsible for the results and right now they're awful."

Blimey, Leeds doing us a favour. Leicester are a different side without vardy, very little cutting edge to them.
