Pretty good weekend for us in terms of top four hopes. Remarkable give run we’ve been on but so many have struggled with consistency. Have to take advantage on Thursday though and beat Spurs to really send a signal team is back on the up

Yes, thank you Brighton. 

Well done Brighton, should really have been more comfortable. Spurs were an absolute shambles. 

Yesterday I was talking to a friend and I said "If we will be at 4 points behind 4th place with 10 games to go I'd sign immediately". 

Now we are at 6 points behind with 18 games to go. Who whould have imagined it one week ago? 

I am optimistic, but we have to smash Spurs on Thursday.

West Ham, Leicester, Everton and Spurs losing. On top of us winning and the bore draw yesterday this weekend couldn't have gone much better.

Just glad Brighton got over the line. To be fair Spurs never looked like scoring, just a shame Brighton are abysmal in the final third or this would have been a thrashing.

Let's add to their misery on Thursday.

So we are equal with Spurs on points now, with them having a game in hand.

We MUST beat them next week.

The BBC just did a poll asking who was the best ever January signing........Bruno Fernandes won it 😐

So a guy that has won nothing is ahead of the likes of Van Dijk, Suarez, Vidic, Evra and Cahill. There is so much recency bias from football fans these days. Bruno Fernandes is being overhyped as much as Van Dijk has been for the past few years.

He was in team of the year last season before the COVID break when they were considering scrapping the season, and he was only there for 6-7 weeks... He's ridiculously overhyped, his record is padded with penalties, he's scored over 20 since being there. That's unheard of in such a small amount of time. 

Liverpool's defensive signings today are outrageously funny, a Schalke CB that apparently averages three goals allowed a game this season and a Championship CB no one has ever heard of.

Anyone who tries to bring up FSG as an example of how to run a club should be shot, they're every bit as bad as the United and Arsenal owners, only they lucked out by having one of their good decisions be a manager who's managed to hide their incompetence.

It just means there’s more United fans than others that’s all I wouldn’t read much into these kinds of polls... anyway everyone knows Torres is the best ever, there’s no debating.

I'm thinking it's definitely Klopp making those transfers. 

Because remember how bad the signings were before Klopp under Rogers and even Dalglish? Absolutely dreadful.
