Great keeper, what a year he's been having, with us Champions League winner, now AFCON winner with Senegal! Looking forward to him being welcomed back to the Chelsea line up with another winners medal, hopefully going to be adding more to his collection very soon with us!

Nice to seem him actually saving a penalty, up until this point he’s looked clueless with penalties.

He best get himself moves to Asia & the Americas so he can complete his collection. 

It makes sense why he started, even though I Believe Kepa saves the pen.

Mendy is a big part of why we are European Champions and in this cup in the first place. So he got to play.

Just like Kepa will start the league cup final as he is a large part, probably the biggest part, of why we made it to the final.

If only Kepa could teach him how to save a penalty he'd be unstopable.

Had been said before but his life really is movie worthy. From being unemployed and about to give up on football to where he is today.

It was indeed.

Really not sure what was going on in his head when he went to punch that ball that McNeil should have scored from.

I get sometimes a punch is needed but a slow dropping near straight lump in to the box when you are as big as Edou is is not the right call to make.

My two year old (well, I dont really have one!) could have caught that ball easily. Dont know what Mendy was thinking.  On a side note, I like listening to games with rob green as color commentator.

There's about one moment every single game with him like that tbh. Drives me crazy. He's lucky we mostly got away with those.

A good keeper wouldn’t take that chance if they weren’t sure. 

What's up with his low passing straigth to the opponents feet? At least the third time in recent matches, he really should stop with the fancy stuff under pressure.
