September 20, 20205 yr The worst thing about this game is that Christensen suspension will expire here and he will be ready to go on Saturday. Great.
September 20, 20205 yr It’ll be good to get some minutes in the legs of other players. I expect the likes of Tammy, Dave, RLC, Barkley, CHO etc. to get some minutes and state a case.
September 20, 20205 yr A match to try and put some players in the shop window. Kepa(let's him know he is in last chance saloon) Azpi Rudiger Tomori Emerson Baka Drinkwater Moses RLC CHO Giroud Tammy on day half time for either Giroud if we are few goals up or a midfielder if we are not. September 21, 20205 yr I would honestly like to see Frank use the 3-4-2-1 from last season or try the 4-2-2-2 at some point, so here's my wishful thinking for the line-up against Barnsley. Wily Azpi - Tomori/Silva - Rudiger Moses - Barkley - Jorghino- Emerson/Chilwell/Alonso Hudson-Odoi - Havertz/Loftus-Cheek Giroud/Abraham Or with the 4-2-2-2 Wily Azpi - Tomori/Silva - Rudiger - Emerson/Alonso/Chilwell Barkley - Jorghino Hudson-Odoi/Anjorin - Havertz/RLC Giroud - Abraham Edited September 21, 20205 yr by PraetorianGuard
September 21, 20205 yr One of the competitions that we have to reach the final. I'd like to see this starting lineup: ------------ Cabellero ------------- Azpilicueta - Rudiger - Tomori - Emerson ------ Jorginho --- Barkley ------ Hudson Odoi -- Harvetz -- Loftus-Cheek ----------- Abraham ----------- It's not going to be an easy trip, only if we will make it happen and use our tools properly.
September 21, 20205 yr ------------ Caballero ------------- Azpilicueta - Zouma - Tomori - Emerson ------ Kante --- Kovacic ------ Hudson Odoi -- Harvetz -- Werner ----------- Abraham ----------- I would try this, think we need to play some of our regulars to try and get a formation showing signs of working, hence still playng Havertz and Werner. Let CHO start and see what he can deliver.

September 22, 20205 yr Havertz has to play to get some minutes under his belt and get some rhythm going against lesser opposition, maybe Silva gets some minutes also.
September 22, 20205 yr The good news is that beside wingers there are lots of choices for this game. The one certainty is Willy starts. That’s already announced. azpi is locked in and I am guessing Barkley, likely cho and Tammy. I’d certainly like to see Tammy and cho getting more league minutes. Werner will likely be rested and probably mount. ‘I doubt if Barnsley will have our squad depth.
September 22, 20205 yr We need game time and better performance, I'd rest Werner, Kante , but pick the best out of the rest.
September 22, 20205 yr I’m hoping Werner and Havertz will start, Werner could do with a few goals and Havertz with more game time. I know they may need a rest but I think even just a hour of game time will do them good.
September 22, 20205 yr caballero azbi Rudiger tomori alonso Kovacic jorginho CHO Havertz Barkley tammy
September 22, 20205 yr Think we will see a very strong XI. Lampard just said in the PC that he'll use the match to get players fit and that we are still in "pre-season" mode. With that in mind i think he'll field our strongest possible XI too get everyone up to sharpness as quickly as possible. Chilwell and T.Silva is in the squad. Ziyech and Pulisic is getting closer. So that is very promising. Edited September 22, 20205 yr by Sindre
