Good to Werner down the middle ...I'm expecting our boys to get at City early but I hope they don't push up to far and allow City to run behind...hopefully a positive result today will give Franks confidence a boost.  

Why do we keep dropping Giroud when he is our best attacker all season? Doesn't feel very fair to me. I would be pissed if I was him.

If something goes wrong Lampard will tell Kovacic to gtfo at half time once again as if he is responsible for Kante being late in the deep midfield  Either we are clueless or we win, I doubt that this can end up in a draw but that's just me...

Again HNY to you S/Enders, sitting here in a Chelsea shirt, first i have worn for years, (unexpected Xmas present off the mrs, Awwww), Glad to see Werner down the middle, if he keeps missing sitters, if it only proves he is getting the chances ,the goals will come, (Get Anelka back as finishing Coach), CHO must wonder what he has to do to keep his place, nice to see Ziyech back, Dave and his 400th appearance, well done, Silva some solidity, and Zouma to practice his 10-15 y sideways-Backward passing?

In all seriousness, midfield is still the issue.  No goals there - need a lot more from Mount and Kova if we want to win today.

It's nice to finally see that front 3, but probably too soon to expect them to be at their best, especially when Werner's confidence has taken a hit, Ziyech has been injured and Pulisic hasn't been anywhere near as threatening as he was before his injury.

Have to say i feel a bit for Callum, Thought he was by far our biggest threat against Villa.

Not the first time he's been dropped this season after playing ok in my opinion. Ziyech cant possibly be match fit, although its nice to see him back.

Sly Lampard finally deciding to play Werner down the middle.... But its against City, knowing full well chances will be hard to come by so he can use that as an excuse to play Werner out of position again next week

p.s Why the f**k has he left CHO on the bench when he was the best player last game? Ziyech being rushed back in which will end up with an injury Im betting,/
