What's the undertone...succeed or die?  This is a dog eat dog multi billion $ industry, when you invest 4 billion you expect results and you expect success. They clearly saw that the TT era had run its course and a change to be successful was required...just like when big corporations let the under performing leaders go and they move onwards and upwards...hopefully.  I don't think Potter is the answer in this case but I assume the Board would have thought this through and not been as reckless as it seems on the surface...unless there was a blow up last night which caused an immediate reaction.

Tuchel was also trying to change us from a successful counter attacking side [3-4-3 or 5-3-2, etc.] and into a possession-based team and even switching to a back 4. But, We never had the firepower up front. We still don’t. AND we don’t have that quality CM to hit forward passes and make things happen.

It is good that new owners are ruthless, but are they just reacting OR did they have this new manager plan all along? With Roman you always had a sense that he had a plan.

Would've probably preferred Zidane given his track record of successfully managing big egos in the management and players at Madrid and also getting some good results. Potter is gamble and hope he doesn't get overawed with the pressure and task at hand.

Todd and the new owners want to be seen as being tough and ruthless, okay, that has worked out well for us historically. But did they always have Potter in mind?

Is this a plan or a reaction? With Roman you always got the feeling that it was a plan.

Like just about every one here, I have mixed emotions about Tt’s reign.  CL super high feeling, and of course the club championship, but everything else was meh.

Most of Europe hates England so if that's a criteria it severely restricts our pool of potential candidates.

Kind of rich coming from today's footballers and what they get up to behind closed doorsin private nightclubs and in their mansions and that's all I'll say on the matter.
