Absolutely awful home record, and I think that would almost certainly have seen him sacked by Roman in a normal season.

He was really blunt in his post-match interviews yesterday. Basically admitted our attackers are nowhere near good enough, that Kante only being fit for about 40% of games is a problem and so on. Thought it was refreshing to hear myself. Just the other day he said we are in a complete rebuild now which I think no one would disagree with. We can forget about City & Liverpool next season which is unfortunate but I do hope this summer can the start of a foundation to build a team that can dominate this league in two or three years time. That should really be our aim at this point in many ways, the two frontrunners are too good for us at this point.

These are our 3 XI's from the players in the system. The first one is solid but right after that, call it backup, is far from being optimal. We have some great young talent which is excellent but also masses of deadwood. 

To be fair we have a ton of work to be done and we are month/weeks behind of other clubs because of the takeover.

No chance.

Unless you mean a season where we aren't plagued by injuries, competing deep in 5 cups and we don't have a pitch that is more suited to league 2 football. 

But even then, were the 3rd best team in england and we've performed like it. His job is to take us now to the top table, but he needs the tools to do it.

I'd argue he wasn't that ruthless even then. We won 2 games in 11 in the winter and he was not only given the season but also backed with a £75m transfer window (Wilkins confirmed he wanted Torres) which was an unprecedented figure for a January window in those times.

I think what saw to Carlo was the UCL performances, he was appointed for his pedigree in the competition and couldn't even match his predecessors best efforts in the tournament.

One of the very worst things that has happened this season is them qualifying for the CL and Conte staying with them. If he is backed and get the players he wants it could be something that really affects us.

Most of the people on here aren't old enough to remember a time when Tottenham were a consistently good side, a better side than us. And I hope they never get to see it because, believe me, if they started winning trophies, their supporters would make Liverpool fans seem like reasonable, decent, fair-minded people.

Here is the thing on Trev. I am a huge fan of his, think he has unlimited potential, however a few articles stated he was only kept because we failed to sign Kounde after selling Zouma. 

Had we signed Kounde apparently WBA were looking to sign Trev, what a blessing it was Kounde fell through.

Even if that were true (which I'm dubious about) he could have gone in the market for filler like Conte did but he didn't.

If that were true. We wouldn't have sold Zouma to begin with. Tuchel has said we sold zouma because we trusted Trevoh. 

Signing Kounde I don't think would have seen Trevoh depart but instead Sarr.
