Yeah, that's called shielding the ball and he's perfectly entitled to do that. It is the defenders job to not go through the player.

Because he takes too long to pass the ball. He won't play it quickly and between the opposition to beat the press. It's like a mental block with him.

It seems half the time you down, the referee says you've gone down too easily. So then you stay on your feet getting fouled more and then they say, well if you want the penalty you should go down. So, really maybe it should be given if it's a foul regardless if the player goes down or not. Just my opinion on the state of that discussion

I'm actually impressed Kovacic didn't miss that badly, that's my standards for him when it comes to shooting. 

That last one from Kova to Cho would have been great for the 3rd goal.

Yes ... it was only half way up the Matic tree and not over the top of it ... he's clearly been practising !
