I don't think United can win. They will play their second team.

Tbh I am in 2 minds on tonight's game. On the one hand sure it makes sense since we are not going to catch United to want them to win and have the chance to move further clear of Leicester tomorrow.

On the other hand I would personally prefer Leicester to make top 4 with us rather than Liverpool, spurs or west ham, the latter two being very unlikely now anyways. So if Leicester lose or draw today then pool beat a tired united on Thursday their chances are really high as they have rubbish teams left after that game.

It'll be interesting to see the back Tuchel goes with because with Christensen Injured and Azpi & Rudiger needing a rest I can see Tuchel going with Zouma, Silva & Emersen at the back.

               Mendy

  Zouma - Silva - Emersen

Reece - Kova - Billy - Alonso

   CHO - Kai - Mount

I'd go strong as possible tomorrow, after the results at the weekend a win tomorrow could cement our top four place and a chance to rest players next week. Get the job done.

I agree that we should go with the strongest team possible and unfortunately with Azpi, Kante, Rudiger and Werner having started 2 high intensity games in the space of a few days I would not be risking them against Arsenal, any potential injury at this stage of the season basically means the season is over for that player.

Jorginho and Pulisic could potentially start as they weren't involved in both games (City & Real).

It seems like the people close to United are saying all reserves.

From the link

                De gea
Williams Tuanzebe Bailly Telles
             Matic VdB
       Amad Mata Elanga
            Greenwood

Kepa | Azpi Zouma Rudi | Reece Kante Jorginho Chilwell | CHO Havertz Mount is the squad I would roll with for this one. Really hope we give to this miserable buttholes real good, make them absolutely les Misérables and Willian Jean Valjean

or something like that

Think you are pretty close there. I think as has been suggested earlier anyone bar who played most of or all of Real and City will be rested to manage the workload as TT alluded to. So I believe from his presser that means we may well see:

Kepa

Zouma

Silva

Emerson

James

Jorginho

Gilmour

Alonso

Mount

Havertz

Pulisic

Only question marks I have there are whether Chilwell comes back in for Alonso as he was rested for City and if TT decides to start CHO.

I base this on the side I expect TT to field on Saturday being

Kepa

Azpi

Silva

Rudiger

James

Kante

Jorginho

Chilwell

Mount

Havertz

Werner

Apparently we are under more pressure now as United reserves lost to Leicester. Do me a favour. Leicester lose we are under more pressure to take advantage, they win we are under more pressure to keep up, ditto Liverpool, ditto west ham etc etc.

How about we just turn up with the right mindset? Like we did vs Atletico, vs Porto, vs Real, vs Liverpool, vs Everton, vs spurs etc etc turn up, respect the competition, respect the need to produce a performance, respect the need to win and do our job as TT and the lads have done several times already.

Nevermind what anyone else does, let's just do our thing and deliver once again.

I prefer it that way anyway. Crossing fingers Liverpool beating United as well - kinda high even. I'd love to give them a really good scare at the end of the season because they're so smug about being second. lol

Ah bu**er...I am feeling quite confident of a good performance and result tomorrow. Cr@p last time I felt so confident and looking forward to a game was WBA.

Sorry in advance everyone we are likely losing tomorrow...try as I might I cannot shake this confidence in us for the game...🙉🙊🙈

Tbh I’m hoping United win against Liverpool, because if we win against Arsenal tomorrow, hopefully, and Liverpool lose then mathematically we’re guaranteed top 4 because by that point we would be 67 points and Liverpool if they win there remaining three games would be 66 and west ham if they win there three remaining games would be 67 points  but we would go through because of the goal difference.

This game v Arsenal is really important. - Full strength team please

FA Cup final is less important as of today. Balanced team please

Leicester league game may be less important, than both of the above. Balanced team please or full strength if CL isnt confirmed.

Villa as Leicester league game. Balanced team please or full strength if CL isnt confirmed

Citeh CL Final. The most important game as of today. Full strength team

Got to win this one, the FA cup final could wait. Treat this as another CL knock out game and we should win it comfortably, just no muck around or expect them to hand the 3 points over like our last encounter.

Man United giving Leicester 3 points for free there doesn't matter and it actually goes in our favor if they beat Liverpool with their best team.

The best possible scenario for us is to secure the top 4 as soon as possible so that our squad can prepare for the CL final.

Just get the job done, nothing fancy but the confidence must be so high right now we could end up taking them apart...or get complacent, but I think TT will drill home that we can’t take any opponent lightly and WBA is the case study for that team talk.
