Aye, rumours about that he has told Inter not to bothered entertaining are bid as he has not heard good things from Ziyech nor been impressed by how his countryman has been "treated". Basically told Inter if you want me to leave it is PSG or I stay.

I mean it seems plausible right? If a club is linked to signing you and that club has an international teammate that plays for them surely you call them up and ask them about it.

Frankly, I don't think Ziyech himself would think he's been treated amazingly by Chelsea. He spent most of his time either sitting on the bench or coming off the bench. I think Ziyech himself might want to get out of Chelsea. Such is life at a title winning club, play time isn't easy to come by.

If these rumours are true I wouldn't be too concerned, make no mistake signing Hakimi is a squad upgrade but not specifically necessary to take us to the next level. Of the 3 rumoured areas it has to be striker, so if we save money here and can go all in for Erling I'm more than happy. I'm convinced this summer we sign 1-2 of out main targets anyway.

Also even if we don't get Hakimi James can still play at RCB and we can draft Christian and Callum to play as high wingbacks which is good because then they're getting more game time. I wouldn't write this deal off just yet though, we all know how the papers can be.

He's been a garbage signing so no one to blame but himself.

Players ain't that precious.

Things ended pretty badly for Luiz here yet it didn't stop Thiago Silva coming a year later.

I don't disagree with you, but I wouldn't be surprised if he does not have the best words to say about Chelsea.

Thiago strikes me as someone who's more than capable of making the best decisions for himself, and does not rely on others' opinions.

Genuinely couldn’t give a hoot if we signed Hakimi or not. The guy has been an absolute journeyman since he became pro and would be a nightmare if things didn’t go his way.

Absolutely no-one at the end of the season would have even entertained the idea of signing another RWB. Let’s just put a bit of faith in Livramento. At the end of the day, giving faith to some of our academy talents hasn’t gone badly has it?

£80m? No thanks. Put the money where it’s actually ended. A goal scorer.

I wouldn't have entertained it because i was thinking we may go back to a back four next season.

If we're playing wing backs we need more going forward in those areas than James and Chilwell.

Why would any elite players want to join PSG? I know it's Paris and money is great, but it is a farmers league with all due respect, and they couldn't even win it last season 😁 Without the tough week in week out football, it's difficult for them to get into top gear in those knock out CL matches. Good luck to him if he just wants the comfort, probably not the type of mentality we want anyway.

So Ziyech is telling Hakimi Chelsea is not a good club to be a minute after he lifted the Champions League trophy? 😂

Ziyech didn't have an impressive first season with us but by the talks of it he is a liked person among the squad and he has a part to play in our future I think. He is much more Frank's player than Tuchel's. He isn't a system player but an artist. I just think he needs a bigger role in set plays and run of games. We have see glimpses of his final ball ability and shooting technique.

Ziyech"s first touch was not great last season. His play went downhill after he Injured his knee.

Haikimi is a good player no doubt. I saw him play quite a bit when he was at Dortmund. I don't think he is worth $50 million plus in this market. Maybe  $35 million plus Alonso.

Seeing reports that PSG bid 75m for Hakimi. Think it’s time to walk away, you can’t spend that sort of money on a wing back. A striker maybe, wing back nah.

On the contary, if wingbacks is the system we're using going forward then specialist's in that position is crucial and had to be our number one priority.

If we're reverting back to a back four I would agree with what you said.

We dont even know if we actually were in for him or not. Now we are European Champions again our name will be used by clubs looking to sell players. Inter could well be using us to get the price they want. Like Dortmund with Sancho.

Biggest disappointment for me if we miss out on Hakimi, is if we end up siging Traore instead. So many conflicting reports on this one. If we were interested and then lose out to PSG again, it will be a bit of a blow having lost Cavani and Pastore to them too. It wouldnt inspire too much confidence in me to think we can get the Haaland deal over the line.

European champions, more attractive league, better mananger, and a settled system that suits the player. You would think we would have some big advantages over PSG.

At least we will know either way soon, becayse Inter have to generate money before the end of the month.

Just hope we stick with Livramento, or look at taking Lamptey back rather than signing Traore.

For me is for of a case that I would like us to sign the players that TT wants us to sign.

That does not mean we have to get his A targets. Any manager who draws up a list of 1 player alone without fall back options is a fool.

So if he wants Traore then so be it, he must see something in him.

Like you though I would like to see Lamptey considered for a return or Livramento get a chance. Though not ever young player we produce is going to make the grade and above all for me I want to see TT giving more games and trust to Gilmour.

Agree 100%,  back the manager. If he wants Traore then so be it. Just wouldn't be my choice.

The trouble with that sort of thinking, is you'll never actually know what TT wants, i've never heard him say he wants A B or C, apart from the bollocks the rags and media spread, wtf do they know....

We wont indeed. We hope the club do and act on it.

From Fabrizio Romano on Twitter. Romano is generally well informed in my experience.

"Inter are expecting Paris Saint-Germain to make a new bid for Achraf Hakimi in the next few days. Talks on between Leonardo and Hakimi’s agent, PSG are getting closer but nothing done yet.  #PSG

Chelsea only offering players - there’s no official bid yet.  #CFC"
