My name was in jest, you realise i didn't actually want Jose to die? I also chose my name before he went to Utd. I've also said i'd have took him back at Chelsea in a heart beat in absolutely any capacity. Regards my current name, i also don't think Mudryk is any relation to Usain Bolt if it was confusing you. What's the middle ground then? His dad made the comment, not him. Both left in similar fashion, both did similar farewell messages. Yet only one you bleat on about the same bo**ocks how he never cared about Chelsea. Simply pointing out the hypocrisy. Edited August 23, 20241 yr by Ukraine Bolt
August 23, 20241 yr I'll back Gallagher 100% because it genuinely felt like he'd only leave as a last resort, but there will always be a distaste for me with Mount. It was clear as day imo Mount was looking to secure the bag and United were the only suckers to grant it to him when it became obvious his poor form started not to look like a temporary thing. The contracts he turned down in August 2022 revealed to be 5-6 year deals and I still remember some fans were defending him saying "He shouldn't sign his life away". Ironically these fans are probably the same ones who scoffed at Gallagher's 2+1 deal and saying it didn't offer enough security.
August 23, 20241 yr As an aside, Conor Gallagher and Jude Bellingham have both used their Irish passports so as to not take the non-EU spot in their respective teams.

I never said you did, but his stock went down with many Chelsea fans when he went to United and instantly acted like we didn't exist anymore despite all the support he got. You can embrace your new fans while still appreciating the old ones (Cech and Giroud to pluck two examples managed it and that was a move between two local rivals). And each to their own but I didn't think his goodbye video was anything close to the emotionless AI style one Mount gave, but anyway @Sconnie Bluehas explained the difference between them better than I have.

September 15, 20241 yr Forced out of the club because of a competition between men pushing wheelbarrows of cash about a chessboard.
September 15, 20241 yr Has been chosen the MOM today and journos talk about his pressing and recoveries of the ball. I hope that he does well at Atleti.
September 15, 20241 yr Prove people wrong who accused him of only able to run, and very little technical ability to play for a top team. I'm happy for him, of course he won't come back anytime soon, deserves better than being told not good enough for Chelsea.
September 15, 20241 yr 2it was always about the profit. There was always a place for him in this team but i am just happy he is doing well in Madrid.
September 16, 20241 yr He was immensely important in athleticos game yesterday. Named MOTM too… if his name was cónor galgáron and from Spain we would’ve paid £125m for him this past summer…

But we are the 2nd highest goal scorers in the league, created the 2nd most goal scoring actions and are 1st in overperforming our xG (even with Jackson). 🤷♂️ Our tackle rate and % is pretty low in every third. It's definitely a squad issue. Arsenal against Spurs yesterday had me thinking if we were as compact, aggressive and as organized as they were, we'd be in a very good spot.

That Wolves game has skewed anything. Scoring 2 goals against City, Bournemouth and Palace and only just scraping a win against Bournemouth is crap. Midfield is none-existent both ends of the pitch.

And the Palace game balances out the Wolves game... [The xG Philosophy] Chelsea (2.42) 1-1 (0.36) Crystal Palace Wolves and Bournemouth are games we probably wouldn't have won last season. For what ever reason players are creating more goal scoring actions and are over performing the xG. Defensively is another question but it goes much deeper than simply missing Conor Gallagher. Defensively is another question but I am going to give time for Maresca to sort it out as I like the improvements up front. Like i say, that Wolves game has skewed everything this season. We've been bang average to poor all throughout pre-season and all season outside of the Wolves game.

Could have lost 4/5-0 in the 1st half but we were super clinical. Our best performance so far was probably vs palace but palace had only two player who can attack. Point/Result wise we have been ok but performance wise we have been poor. Edited September 17, 20241 yr by Bob stark
