October 2, 20214 yr That VAR decision really ruined what was an excellent half of attacking football from us. I am so sick of these refs looking for any reason to give something against us when you would never see the same sh*t applied to other teams.

I just know that I've seen 100s of goals where they haven't bothered to do this before and I can guarantee you that there will be 100s more after this.

If I'm not mistaken, it depends on the VAR ref then decision will be left to the in-game ref but it must be within passage of play.
October 2, 20214 yr If VAR is going to go so back to deny goals, then so many goals should be denied this season. My issue has never been with VAR but more about the consistency of it. Their goal posts on decisions, at least in the premier league, seem to change from game to game.

October 2, 20214 yr Author Back to not celebrating until 5 minutes after it hits the net. VAR is wrecking the game with decisions like that, it's such a soft decision, literally all goals scored by us are at risk if this is how VAR is going to intervene and get involved like that.
October 2, 20214 yr Really enjoyed that half, bar the VAR sh*thousery. Loftus Cheek man. Just needs more games to get that pass sharpness back, and we will feast.
October 2, 20214 yr Haha what an officiating fiasco. Hope we can get a bus driver in to referee the rest of the game. We look brilliant though. Loftus-Cheek and Hudson-Odoi in particular have been excellent. Cobham is immense!
October 2, 20214 yr We're clearly the better team and we have a full control of the game, but still have to score another goal to kill the game. Without presents to Southampton, we have to finish the game as fast as possible in the second half. Our transition is very good, we're creative with speed. RLC and Kova are running some good counters, Lukaku holds the link up very well. We need more attacking ability from CHO and Werner, they're trying and playing decent, but need to look more for the goal. Decent performances so far, but I'm still not confident at all with our winning, we need the second goal immediately. COME ON CHELS!!!
October 2, 20214 yr I just hope this doesn't affect the team in the second half (especially timo) hope we continue the good performance and finish these bastards and their robotic fans off.
October 2, 20214 yr Absymal decision against us with VAR again. It felt like they were looking for anything in the build up, focus seemed to be on the Lukaku jump initially. I don't think there is any bias, but the absolute state of refereeing in the EPL is appaling.

October 2, 20214 yr Walker Peters did not even appeal for a foul, he was up and started chasing Azpilicueta after being disspossed...
October 2, 20214 yr It may seem an overreaction but I'm going to be honest. VAR has ruined football for me. I know it's meant to help the officiating, and yes a lot of the times, it gives correct decisions but I'm sorry, it's use and application are so so poor. Years ago, when we scored I celebrated like mad, now I have to pause my hopes just to check VAR isn't going to rule it out. It's well and truly disrupted the flow and passion for the game and I'm sick of it.
October 2, 20214 yr I’ve never seen them go so far back to review an incident with VAR. This sets a new precedent that’s not good for the game.
October 2, 20214 yr Mike Dean just loves the spotlight. He makes it about him even when the bald pecker isn't on the field. PGMOL can feck off

It’s ok though that will light the fire in the players bellies not dishearten them. In all cases I’m very happy with the performance.
October 2, 20214 yr also, play Hudson Odoi in his position on the left and we see what we get he’s been brilliant

One would think that you joke about a bus driver, but EPL refs are so incompetent and inconsistent that a flip of a coin would be more acceptable and fair.
October 2, 20214 yr this is the 2nd time for Chelsea when VAR has gone back so far to review it. no other team had ever this sh*t from VAR
October 2, 20214 yr Var and Mike Dean is a complete joke. You can't go back so far, even for a foul, this was a soft one. Southampton even gets time to reset their defence a couple of times for crosses.
