I'm a Huddersfield fan and thought I would give you a quick update on this little gem you have. Smith Rowe , Ben Chillwell, Trev Cholobah to name a few all started their careers with us, and we all said how good they are, but Levi is just simply on a different level. After a few games we all said he will be England captain one day, now I'm thinking it really wouldn't surprise me if he ends up in Qatar this year (squad player) if he can break into your squad this summer. 

You are probably thinking this is a completely blown out of proportion post but he is already probably the best CB in the championship at the age of 18. Last year we shipped the most goals in the entire league, this year we are 3rd in the clean sheet chart, and he is a huge part of that.

He is simply years ahead of his age, and probably is the most promising young CB player I have witnessed in my lifetime. I understand its just the championship, but give him a run of games and you will see just what you have.

There are rumours of lower end prem teams looking to buy, but I would be gobsmacked if you would let such a promising talent go, so we all have our fingers crossed we can keep him until year end.

Either way, what a future this young lad has and we are all looking forward to seeing his rise in the game. Do you have anymore we can have?

I think with our CB crisis looming, there's a good chance he'll get a chance in pre-season.

Like I have been saying if we give this guy a chance we won't regret it, and I stand by that.

Thanks for the update Sam, we had a Wigan fan a couple years ago who did a similar post to yours about Reece James and he was right! What would you say are Levi weaknesses ? Good luck for the rest of the season!

Exactly my thought when I read this post. We are lucky to have such a top academy and lucky to have a manager who has faith in them. I am very, very confident that TT will give the same chance to Colwill, Broja and Gallagher as he has done to James, Mount and Chalobah. (Yes I am aware Mount and James got in the side before TT but he easily could have continued to leave them out for Havertz/Werner/Ziyech and Dave.)

Broja colwill and Gallagher adds some serious youth and depth to our squad next year. All players that want to play for us as well!

Never realised what a fantastic alumni Huddersfield have had, you're definitely welcome to some more!

He's not the tallest of defenders, so may require a Rudiger type defender next to him (he does win his fair share of headers still) however his reading of the game is just superb. Never bullied off the ball, quite quick for a centre back, and just so calm and collected. He's really benefited from having an old head next to him.

Key attributes:

Fast, 

Great with ball at feet

Calm and collected 

Reads the game brilliantly, just makes it look so simple

 

To work on:

Sometimes commits himself and gets caught out of position, experience will help this 

 

Great all round defender 

 

 

Great to read. Definitely excited to see him at schedules next season. Wonder if he’ll go straight into the squad or a season on loan in PL. if good enough, my preference would be our defense. A bonus he’s left footed also?

I've seen Colwill listed as 187cm, which is the same height as John Terry, so that's tall enough for me LOL.

Interesting that Levi opted for shirt number 26 at Huddersfield. I saw that as a great statement of confidence and intent !

Do you think he is good enough right now to start in the PL ?

Disappointed to see Hudds left him on the bench for their playoff game. Seems him and Anjorin have both been left on the bench a fair bit of late. I wonder why. Am guessing @Samhudds is not about to say.

Quite probably like all young players he will be inconsistent.

Unwell in the week so not fully match fit. 

Looks like we’ll have to enter the market for another left-sided centre back. A real shame as he looks f**king brilliant.

Not just Arsenal, a few other PL sides as well. I have seen at least 4 others linked.

In the little I have seen Levi looks to me like another Reece James breakout star.

Lamps was forced in to using the academy due to our ban and that helped Reece get a chance. Will TT give Levi a chance? Cause if not I see him leaving and getting regular PL minutes.

I can see us selling him to another PL side. It would be stupid, but we would do it. 

But we wouldn't sell him to arsenal. That would be beyond thick

Hes not got much choice, he's got 3 years left on his contract still. 

Could have cost his side promotion with that mistake.
