October 3, 20232 yr Moved into my fantasy premiership side at the expense of Chillwell. Sterling is out next game week.
October 13, 20232 yr Making his debut tonight. Apparently 25% of the last 50 England debutants came from Cobham.
October 22, 20232 yr Kind if bern passed over but I thought he waw outstanding yesterday, back at CB and didn't put a foot wrong after an early poor touch.

It was great to see him at CB, and he had an excellent game. If I was to be constructively critical, there were a few moments that need tightening up - air kick clearance, missed volley clearance that spun up about 3 feet, and a number of long balls to no one. Now, that's picky on what was really wet conditions and clearly some nerves - as he settles his composure in tricky moments will improve. Beyond excited for Levi at this club - he can lock down CB for a decade plus. What a player!
December 6, 20232 yr Useless as he has been all season, only saving grace is he’s being played at left back rather than his favoured position.
December 6, 20232 yr He is a really promising CB. So lets keep playing him at full back and help destroy the lads confidence and play Disasi ay CB instead, even though he is dodgy as f**k.
December 6, 20232 yr I think he was decent, certainly not the worse offender defensively on the pitch. His side of the pitch was fairly quiet for large parts of the game.

Odd decision to sub Cucurella for Reece today, forcing Colwill back into his less favored full back role. Cucurella was arguably one of our better players first half. Would have made more sense to sub off Disasi.

Silva has to be in the middle and you don't want Reece to stay back and Cucu goes up that will be idiotic. Now try to come out with combination that make sense. Alternatively move Disasi into the middle and have 3 CB's with Reece and Cucu as Wing backs. Subbing off one of the lacklustre performers further forward to make room for Reece.

December 7, 20232 yr Drop Silva and move Colwill centre. Silva is done... has been for two years because we have to set up for his limitations.

I think we do need to start leaving Silva out more regularly but for me, he is still our best CB by a mile. He might be slower, but he wins more challenges, intercepts more balls, passes better than any other defender and his football brain means he sees things a lot earlier than anyone. None of the others look comfortable on the ball like Silva does and I don't expect they ever will, but it probably is time to start pairing Colwill and Badiashile or perhaps Fofana (IF he is ever fit again).

Makes sense for the first half, Man Utd went for the tried-and-tested strategy of 'attack the bit of the pitch Cucurella is supposed to be in'.

I think we simply have to try something different. We are simply conceding far too many goals. Dont get me wrong, I love the guy and delighted he is with us, but something has to change and us conceding goals is part of the reason we're not winning games. If we can't play a high line when pressing, it's because a simple ball over the top and a foot race isn't going to be won by Silva. I reckon we tighten up and can play further up the pitch without him which is needed to press in an opponents half. No other side in the EPL plays a 40 year old centre back and it is the quickest league in world football.
