& that is why you can’t play him in the middle. Tackles he will get away with on the flanks will most likely result in a pen/ red card.

That's never a penalty - free kick (for the contact outside the box) or a yellow card for diving.

Rudiger does stupid sh*t like that a lot. It's so frustrating. 

Why so long to check ffs. Never inside. I could see that from live play. I was never in doubt.

Before the foul we were taking some really unnecessary risks with possession though. Hopefully that will get our players more alert.

Dominated that half. Our pressing was excellent, the only issue as usual is the end product. If it's not the finishing, it's a poor touch or poor pass that kills our chances to score.

For all our possession, we've given away a few sloppy balls which have led to counters and dodgy moments. Very lucky not to have given them a soft way back into the game with a pen. Need to be more direct and actually attack the spaces, instead of passing it back all the time. Not that we will, cos that's just how we always play, and it's frustrating.

I would say that was debatable it was even a free kick 

anyway nice position, they got to score 4 - again we have been poor up front this should be even further beyond their reach 

We have been the better team but a few sloppy moments at back.

Yeah not sure if it was either, but VAR couldn't say no free kick, they can only say penalty or not.

It was a foul. Can't understand why he did it as he could have easily shepherded him out.

Other than that a really good first half. Only slight area for improvement is possibly the final ball into Lukaku who has made a number of really good runs. Mount could do with being more involved but I'm nit picking.
