So, what's going to happen before this game then? Before the Liverpool game, Roman Abramovich handed over control of the club. Before the Luton game, Abramovich put the club up for sale. Before the game against Norwich, he was sanctioned.

My prediction - Government have loosened the sanctions - Fans will be allowed to buy tickets. I hope.

Not a bad shout, then on to Lille could be the acceptance of an offer from one of the 3 "serious" bidders.

This is a massive opportunity to get our message out at the utter hypocrisy of the UK government.  They sell arms to the Saudis who's regime have killed over 100,000 people in Yemen!
They also welcome "dirty money" from the Saudis in Newcastle.

This point needs to be amplified!!

Hopefully we can get some banners.

This could be a classic, especially with Newcastle experiencing strong recent form.

This will be a great test for the playing group.

Oh they know. But Russia have always been the enemies of the west, even before the Ukraine invasion. FIFA don't care either, Sepp Blatter was one of the shadiest in that org.

I hope so but that would mean things are getting better when the trend is that things seem to be getting worse.

Going to be an interesting and eventful game on and off the pitch.

I will be there as usual supporting the blue boys, but, and I thank Roman for everything he has done, but I won't chant his name, its not the right time.

But we've got super Tommy Tuchel he knows exactly what we need.....

Let's all get behind the team, Come on you Chels

Honestly, think the lads are going to really gel together and look at everything as an 'US vs THEM' mentality. At least that is what I am hoping. I know if I was in that dressing room, it would be very easy to look at the tv or social media and have that doubt in the back of your mind, slowing taking everything over.  Those that can go to the matches, I think, need to back the lads and the staff and sing their names the entire 90 minutes. Let them know that we are with them and we will stand with them as we all go through this.

Newcastle unbeaten in 9 matches. Earned the most points bar Liverpool since the turn of the year.

We must play with 150% effort, not like that sh*te performance we had against Norwich.

Yep they are on a roll though we can beat them if the pressure of the situation does not affect the team or manager given the current circumstances.

In all honesty we should beat Newcastle even playing at the levels against Norwich, coupled with Newcastle’s very poor record at the bridge I think we will be just fine.

‘As long as we have a fixture and as long as we have enough shirts and as long as the bus is full of fuel we will be there, we will be competitive and we will be there in the best spirit because we love the game,’

‘This is what everyone can be sure of and this is what we demand of ourselves. When it’s a big storm you dig in and you hold together and hold strong and get through it.’     Thomas Tuchel.

Massive praise and credit to TT and the players if they can maintain focus and get the win against toon and result needed to get past Lille as I am finding it hard to think about matches while everything is going on with the club ownership.

Hope there is a plan in place to look after all the staff involved at the Bridge.

Also thank you @coco it has been far too long since you messed up the headline of a match day fixture  🙂

edit: lol you did it for Burnely and Norwich too. Bless you lmao.

Totally agree. I encourage all at the game to get behind Tuchel and the team. They are the ones to support tomorrow.

Going to be a tough game as the magpies are on good form. With all the sh*t surrounding our club, it’s going to be a massive task to get the players into the mood, but they’ve been playing like a real team that’s got a lot to prove since the League Cup game, and I believe that is down to all the sh*t being thrown at Chelsea.
