I thought the same. I don't think he would have gotten away with that in Europe because European refs have clamped down on that kind of thing.

Rudiger was pretty solid but Christensen still left my heart in my mouth every time he dithered with the ball stuck under his feet. Barca fans must be looking on with eager anticipation!!

Only down side is Celtic-,however the writing  is on the wall there,  but Rangers are in a European final 🥳

If they come second with just a league cup surely we'd have had a better season, despite the bum loving of them by the media.

Surely an FA Cup and third trumps second and the Rumbelows.

Much better with Chalobah playing. More speed in the back and fresh legs. Shame about Kova. Good goal by Pulli, in fact they were all good shots. For once. midfield looked much more solid with jorgi there, but all that said its a lot easier against 10.

When watching the highlights it showed that it really was a shocking tackle by James for the red card.

I'm glad we won and secured top 4 (all but). 

However I'm sorry, I can't really be THAT positive. We were playing against 10 men vs one of the worst sides in the league. Going by our history. This isn't a result that we mean to go on from. We usually revert back to type the 1 or 2 games after. Let's see how we do in the cup final but I haven't got high hopes.

And for the record my problem is not with Tuchel. I just don't think any of our players are THAT good. Our recruitment has been shocking in that we've spent so much more than our London rivals yet we are not miles clear of them. That summer we spent £200m, we really needed at least one of Werner or Havertz to be our world class player. The failure of that has resulted in Lukakus signature.

I resisted it after Porto but if we win on Saturday some sweeping statements ('re our chances in the game) defiently need calling out.

Good win. You can only beat what's ahead of you. Cool.

But I still don't trust these players, they are not good enough. The first 15 minutes, when Leeds heads were scrambled we should have scored more than one goal. 

Anyone can smash Leeds, so I was not really focusing on that yesterday.

I was focusing is if we still make mistakes at the back. And we still have a number of times. 

Still we haven't conceded but we were fortunate that it was 10 men Leeds, so they cannot take advantage of our one or two mistakes.

At least in the bear minimum you do not concede to this weak dirty Leeds and they did that, so kudos.

I guess that it's for James's season, over for a moment of madness and next time he plays it might be in the Championship.

Very difficult for us to beat Liverpool without Kova unless  Liverpool now also succumb to injuries in training.

If they name a stand after him then he’d technically have a presence there every game and we’d never win again. 

Tottenham beat Arsenal which really shines a light on our poor performance against them. We tend to make Arsenal look like the FIFA World XI.
