Yes, he was very disappointing there today.

Playing him at #10 behind Jackson is probably going to be out best option with our current personnel.

It was just a complete waste of time.I think poch did that because he doesn't want Nkunku to sprint or something like that.

Anything else on his injury? Website says undergoing his rehabilitation program, which is steps away from first team training.

The list of absentees is abysmal.

Poch should be giving his press conference in the next hour, I imagine he'll be asked about it there

Poch said he is worried, Nkunku has been unable to train for the last 10 days. No expected return date.

I was excited when I read that Chilly, Badiashile, and potentially Chukwumeka could be involved tomorrow, but this put a real dampner on things, quite concerning

And here's me thinking he'd at least make the bench.

This simply can't be the case of every player we have is made out of glass.

This club f**ks me off when talking about our injures, I don't need an exact date but give us a time frame, is it weeks or months?

We've been given a lot of misdirection. Carney's "set back" from his return from injury in September turned into not playing again for the year. Enzo apparently suffered a stomach ache against Newcastle according to Poch, when it turns out he's had a diagnosed sports hernia all this time. Nkunku was supposed to be back against Boro yet has suffered continuous set backs. Muscular injuries at that.

I don't trust this manager and I don't trust this club.

We having a dreadful run of luck unfortunately ... but I highly doubt anyone at the club is deliberately offering misdirection.

Nkunku is supposed to be a hip problem isn't it ? That might be structural, rather than muscular ...

As a sufferer of hip problems myself it is not always a clear cut diagnosis. Sometimes you just have to try different treatments to see what works and what doesn't, and it can very much be a "suck it and see" approach.

Hark at the optimist LOL

It's Years !

Seems like the general pattern with our injured players. Starts with a small knock, nothing serious and should be back in a game or 2. Then a couple of weeks later they are being assessed for treatment, before they go into unknown status for months on end. No doubt he will be out until April now. Lavia seems to have disappeared after having a bruised thigh. Something seriously dodgy going on behind the scenes.

All other teams have such injurie problems. And this is from several years.

Its not some conspiracy theory to think that FIFA and UEFA made stupid decisions to increase number of matches with new formats, new tournaments and a long with that the players had to any nutritional supplements, stimulants and other things from an early age, which at an early age the bones and cartilages are additionally loaded by the increased weight of the body.
Our neighbors are doctors and their son as a child took growth-accelerating drugs and until he was about 22 years old, the boy had a broken arm, leg, wrist for several months....Bones cannot keep up with rapid growth and are repeatedly stressed

Lavia and Nkunku being this way have been two key players robbed from our season, along with Reece.

Reece and Chilwell are 2 players that developed injuries over time after playing a fair amount of times for the first team. Bad luck for sure, and possibly poor management of return from injury the main reasons.

But Lavia, Nkunku, and Fofana were all signed for big fees when we knew they had injury issues. Despite the risks we went ahead with the transfers. They may eventually work out, but to date the decisions look reckless at best considering the fees involved.

Since Chilwell was signed, he has played in 6,593 minutes (75 starts and 17 sub appearances) out of our total first team minutes of 17,820 (198 games taken at at 90 minutes each)

For James, he has played 10,907 minutes (119 starts and 37 sub appearances) out of a potential 22,770 minutes (253 games)

That's an awful lot of games to be without your best full backs ...

Ahha that's it!

Now I understand why we signed him.

We bought Wesley Fofana so Reece and Ben can look over and think "well, could Lways have worse luck".
