He has only started in two matches to-date the rest from the bench.

City would be a good match to try him in after all, the odds against winning are high and their CBs won't know his game.

With the cup coming up .. I don’t expect to see him start.. my money would be Jackson sterling palmer..

He scored a hatrick there not long ago so I think they will more than know about him.

Watch someone say Bathshauyi or Tammy are better than him.

Maybe not better but as effective - thus far.

Another player being mismanaged at this club.

Not a striker, but expected to play as one with Chelsea. Every time he comes on, Pochettino subs off all of the better link up players we have that would help bring the best out of Nkunku.

I just don't understand why this keeps happening. I'm f**king sick of it. We buy all of these players and every manager just refuses to play them to their strengths. What the f**k is the point in signing them then?

I watched Nkunku for Leipzig and there wasn't a single moment I can remember where he was the lone striker without a teammate anywhere near him. Not once. He was always picking up the ball outside the area, facing the goal with players to run at. Capable of dribbling away from players similar to Hazard and scoring goals out of nothing. Chelsea signs him though and it's the same story, play him as a striker and expect him to be do it all himself like Drogba.

So would you start him at #10 instead of Gallagher ? I guess with Jackson up top ahead of him, Palmer to the right, and Sterling at LW ?

He’s a brilliant player. As said above, every time he comes on he is completely isolated and with fewer attacking players around him. Most would struggle in that setup. Play to his strengths.

Maybe he doesn’t want to be apart of this 🤣🤣🤣

But I am far from surprised which is why i find it hilarious that our fit players get called not good enough by some.
If you stay fit you are good enough for Chelsea currently.

I would write this season off completely and go again next season it’s pointless with so many injuries.
