Christopher Nkunku to Chelsea

Featured Replies

I’ve never seen anything like it. Two major transfers and they’ve been injured all season.

Last time I remember such an injury prone player was Robben and even then he still had a massive impact.

There has to be something we can change to avoid so many injuries, a lot of them seem to get injured in training, are the training intensity too high?

Or is it our medical team doing a terrible job, misjudging on return from injury?

Something has to change.

This can't be a coincidence that all of these players we have are injury prone. Nkunku, Lavia, Chilwell, James, Ugochukwu, Chukwuemeka, Cucurella, Fofana, Badiashile, Chalobah. They've all had significant injuries this season, this isn't bad luck, it HAS to be the medical staff.

Eghbali has probably made himself our chief medical officer.

Basically missed the entire season. Same for Lavia. Same for Fofana. Same for Chukwuemeka. Same for James.

Thats actually insane. Surely there’s no way this can be written of a coincidence

Reece is the exception here as he was our player to begin with. Not sure about Chucky, but the others all had known injury issues when they were signed for big fees.

We signed him when he was out with a long term injury. That should have at least raised some concerns. Same with Lavia.

Actually if I remember correctly, this guy had no serious injuries whatsoever until we officially signed him and he gets injured straight after.

If we had bad luck it would be a few injuries but we have no luck at all .

I speculated at the start of the season there is something at Cobham causing these injuries because players leave and sudden becomes less injury prone.

The only thing I could think of is poor quality turf on the Cobham training pitches ... but then Nkunku got injured at Wembley ...

If you follow that EPL injury web site, it isn't just a Chelsea thing either it seems ... plenty of injuries all around ...

On Pulisic, RLC, Kante etc, maybe the better weather and lower intensity football helps ?

CHO might simply have recovered better from his injury, plus he hasn't played that much, which also helps ... he's played 1,343 minutes out of Forest's total season to date of about 2,790.

I thought this with Fofana, a double leg break surely you giver them a more detailed haleth analysis before letting them sign.
