Never wanted to come here, and I am not certain he would have replicated his form here. At City he needs just 5 touches in 90mins to score a hat trick. He would have been hung here for not pressing enough, and we don’t create enough chances.

The added time board may as well have said "until Liverpool score". Like it did at the Bridge when wenplayed Spurs, only then it said "until Spurs level".

Couldn’t care less about that Liverpool result tbh, they still look shaky, if anything I’m disappointed in their bad start because Man-city are winning the league by December and that’s depressing.

It's not about the result, it's about the bent officials that turned 5 mins ET into 7.

Newcastle didn’t do 3 minutes of time wasting within that 5 added on minutes to warrant it getting to nearly 8 minutes.

There’s no way we would get an extra 3 minutes to score a goal, someone refereeing our game wouldn’t of allowed us to take the corner.

I rewound at the end. The keeper stayed down for 90 secs, so ref should have blown at 96m 30. The goal was at 97.14.

But refs have a minute's license-to-manipulate where 5 mins can magically be 5m59secs depending on who they want to score, because the rules state 'a minimum of X minutes'. 

Proper time-keeping is vital for transparency and fairness.

I remember a few years ago a study that showed how the 'big teams' get more time added when they're behind or drawing, and this was especially the case when they were at home. The study found this was true of all the big clubs - with one exception. No prizes for guessing which club did not benefit from this.

3 minutes is one thing, but for a ref to allow play to continue for us to score would really raise some eyebrows.

This league will eventually turn into the rest of Europes 2/3 team leagues.
