Van Dijk at his absolute best competes against the likes of Terry and Rio but that's where it ends. 3 years of elite performances vs 10 years.

I’m not even sure at his best he was ever at JT’s level. JT ticked so many boxes…great defender, leader, captain, passer of a ball, threat from set pieces. If he’d had his chelsea career in a Liverpool shirt the hype would have been insane.

Van Dijk certainly played at a high level but his mistakes never get highlighted, which has contributed to a ridiculous amount of hype. I rate Kompany above him let alone JT.

Nonsense. Just talking JT here but he was top drawer for over a decade, not just 18 months. Van Dijk has obviously been a great signing overall for Liverpool but is incredibly overrated too.

Van Djik had 2 excellent seasons, then 1 good one and some sh*t ones. He isn't even close to players like JT, Ferdinand, Sol Campbell, Carvalho etc. He's a media darling who gets a free ride when sh*t.

Casameiro sent off for the similar foul to the one Pereira didn't even get a yellow for against us yesterday, refs are useless and VAR is a waste of time.

I gave up on them after hairpullgate.

Pope brought down a wolves player in the area earlier…should have been a pen and a red. Nothing.

Van Dijk stood out at a time of very weak prem centre halfs. Lots of people got caught up in the Liverpool media hype at the time. Best team in the world, best CH in the world and best goalkeeper in the world my arse.
He had lots of mistakes in him which got over looked, he was part of a Liverpool defence that Palace knocked 7 against.

Good player but not at JT or Rio’s level and on a power with Vidic, Adam’s, Carragher.

Been utterly pathetic. Rolled over from minute one. Where’s the intensity from when they play against us?

Seems like whoever plays against us plays the game of their lives. The game they played vs us compared to yesterday's against Arsenal was night and day. Typical small club mentalities.

Anyway, Arsenal have won the league and you can't say they didn't deserve it. They were eventually going to win one anyway, not like they were going to go 100 years without winning one. The only problem is that cnut Xh*ka putting his dirty hands on a trophy.

No Paulinho or Willian for Fulham didn't help their cause. But i was surprised just how poor Fulham were. We should have got something from those gsmes against them.

Arsenal are looking good, but too many teams are not performing at a good level this season. I suppose you can say that for many seasons though, including when we won it under Conte.

They bottled top four last season when it was virtually Impossible to do so. Just like in tennis, closing out a match is hundreds of times harder than making easy breaks of serves and crusing past your opponents for 99% of the match. Football is similar and Arsenal will definitely feel the heat in the last five, six rounds as long as City stay very close to them.

In view of improving on our current 10th place, Fulham losing is not a bad thing. They're now 2 points above us, when we have a game in hand.

But Brentford are one point ahead with a game in hand over us so we’d still not be the best team in the west (London).

The BBC have been getting stick and rightly so but one thing that will never change is their Man United bias. Don't recall any team in the Europa League games being live on the radio maybe the semi finals but never the away leg. They played Barcelona ok two massive clubs but it's still only the last 16 the away leg is live on 5live. This Thursday their second leg against Real Betis is live a game that they are already 4-1 up 5live should be covering the 24 hours after the budget not a meaningless Europa League game.

Personally I  think there is bias towards, United, Liverpool and Spurs.
