June 21, 20224 yr Surprised there has been no rumour thread started for Richarlison as they have been numerous news stories linking us with a move for him over the past couple of weeks. https://www.football.london/chelsea-fc/transfer-news/richarlison-frank-lampard-chelsea-transfer-24271594 So whadda you think? Always looked like a Brazilian Danny Wellbeck to me.
June 21, 20224 yr Richarlison would be a brilliant signing, much better than Sterling or Gabriel Jesus. He is a bit nasty and not afraid of getting dirty in the trenches when the going gets tough. I like that he was dependable when Everton needed him most last season. Technically he is not great for a Brazilian striker but he's still miles better than Werner or Lukaku, physically he punches above his weight at holdup play.

And another bonus is the last player we had with a nose that big was Andy Townsend.
June 21, 20224 yr Dont think he's an elite player, but he has that nastiness and drive which we are lacking. Everytime we play Everton, he's their best player and gave us loads of problems just by running hard and being aggressive ( and a diver but who am I to judge). Pending the price and he's willing to be rotated, wouldnt be a bad choice.
June 21, 20224 yr Not sure about him, I feel he thinks he's better than he actually is. Saying that, self confidence isn't a bad thing and most of the attackers we've had in recent years wilt under pressure too quickly here so maybe someone with a bit of an ego is something we need...
June 21, 20224 yr i'm not keen on him either. Certainly a fighter when he is up for it yet also a card risk and don't even think he is that clinical. Spurs are rumoured to be interested..........

We’ve been discussing him in the rumour thread, nobody made a thread due to the depression it would cause to see an ‘actual’ thread, so thanks.. thanks a lot.

June 21, 20224 yr Richarlison is not my cup of tea. Watching Brazil at the Olympics I far preferred Antony.
June 21, 20224 yr A Brazilian striker who has a nasty side and is not afraid to get dirty I'm the trenches...ah Diego Diego...
June 21, 20224 yr Apparently this one has legs. Lamps would be quite keen on getting Conor Gallagher as part of the deal, which would make it around 25mill plus Gallagher.

Gallagher is more valuable than Richarlison, if anything that should be Richarlison + £25m for Gallagher. On yer bike Lamps!
June 21, 20224 yr I don't want him per se (although I don't think he'd be half as bad as people think) but atleast after last summers disaster with you know who it's nice to see us going for players that are a fit stylistically. I can forgive a signing that doesn't work like hoped but on paper they suited our football (ala Werner and Ziyech, even Kepa) but the Lukaku signing was mindblowing, it was so so obvious he'd have been out of his depth in TT's system.

On a random note that guy in your meme played a manager in the fictional football drama Dream team where they lost the 2006 league cup final to us 🤣 (the 2005 final vs Liverpool was used with effects changing Liverpool's kit colour to there's).
June 21, 20224 yr Broja to West Ham for £30m and Gallagher + £25m for Richarlison. Utterly ridiculous and I hope neither happen.
June 21, 20224 yr I'd take it. Decent goal return with a pretty abysmal Everton team. Brings that nasty side we are are so often missing too. Wouldn't have thought of it myself but the more i look into him seems like one of the better options for CF.

I wouldn't want to pay 50m for Richarlison so unless we can exchange deadwood for him to lower the price I'd avoid.
June 21, 20224 yr The type of players we have apparently been interested in has me wondering what we are aiming for this season, because it certainly doesn't look like we are trying to close the gap on City and Liverpool.

Before today, I will say he will be a good signing but I have just watched some our of past games and some of city games to analyze our offense and it changes my opinion. I probably prefer we sign a creator, maybe a dembele. Our problem is not finishing chances but creating them in the 1st place. Without kova our midfield is just shocking offensively, so so bad. When city midfielder got free in good area it turn into dangerous situations, in our case it turn into nothing or worse.

Richarlison is a diamond in the rough, but one who will stay rough, we need to stay far away and this talk of £60m is making me want to grab one of those spinning top totems from Inception to check if this is real life.
