Avram Grant was the real genius   without doing anything he gets us to the CL final. Didn't even bother with all those coaching badges he was that good.

Nice to watch one of these where a player is relaxed on day 1 and showing some of their personality, most of them are usually quite stiff and very media trained

I think he represents the kind of profile Tuchel wants in our pivot. Strong, ball carrying midfielders with attacking and defensive attributes.

Would have been nice to see Carney take a cleaner number like 15, although I suppose like with others (Kovacic, Pulisic etc) he’ll probably change to something more ‘first team’ later on if it works out for him here.

Carney probably has a superstition with the number 3. Maybe he can take it when Alonso leaves. I rather like an attacking player to have a low number. Like Forlan had #2 at Villareal 

I’m nervous the club paying a kid £15+5m and making him the highest paid teenager in England. It smells a little of Pogba 2.0. He’s got to show and prove he’s worth that and put the hard yards in for the team. 
 

Last thing we need is a young, cocky and arrogant kid to mess things up. He’s only started 2 PL games in his whole career.
