Carney has the physical side to his game too which will obviously translate well into the adult game. Has Hutchinson been getting abuse for his debut??? There are many idiots on social media who go after anyone who is not white. No doubt some of these morons claim to be "proper chels" as well

He specifically left Aston Villa to get more gametime - have to wonder who advised him that Chelsea would be a good club for him to get said gametime at.

This was one of the strangest signings we made in a season of madness. 20m for a random youth product who's played a handful of games and had 1 year on his deal.

I'd be surprised if he expected more game with us when he hardly ever started for Villa.

And guess who De Zerbi said was the MOTM for Brighton that game? Billy Gilmour. 

Our decision making under Boehly has been laughable but Tuchel absolutely should have used Gilmour more. Used to put in MOTM performances every debut he made in every competition.

You must have watched different games to me. I dont think the Gilmour sale was at all wrong. Lets see how many more games he plays at Brighton.
On the other hand Brighton have signed the most exciting new player this season, and that's Mitoma. That guy is really fun to watch.

He was named as man of the match on his full FA Cup debut against Liverpool, first Premier League start against Everton and even his first Champions League start against Krasnodar, plus MOTM on his international debut. He'd drop a MOTM performance then not be played for a month, the fact Brighton wanted him is enough of a red flag that we shouldn't be selling him.

Would love to see Chucky in the starting line up tonight. The starting XI needs to be made up of players with a point to prove, the experienced individuals just don’t look bothered at this stage in the season.

Billy's time in the senior team was a mixed bag. Along with the MOTMs, he had some stinkers, overrun, overpowered. Not necessarily his fault, a couple of times he was played as a sole DCM, not his forte, and he didn't cope. I still think he was worth persisting with. It was odd that Potter, having bought him, hardly started him. Now De Zerbi the same.

It'a shame some of our youngsters don't follow a similar route to James and Mount and get decent match time with an aspiring Championship club.

I reckon De Zerbi is just easing him in gently, and if they sell Caicedo in the summer he will be getting regular game time. He is still only 21.

Thought he looked very promising last night.

Agreed, thought he was one of the better players taking the ball forward. Very lazy defensively though.

Like I said before, playing kids is fine but  you can't just play throw them into the mix without thinking about team structure. 

Some fans probably will want us to play murdyk as gk.
