His injury actually lowered our level in attack.

Any updates on him? It seems like he has a crucial spot for now.

Looked really good first half bar the marking at the corner kick. Took his goal nicely and was involved in a lot of build up play. Really hope his injury isn't as bad as it looked.

Can't be too critical about a 19 year old's marking at a set piece, you'd think one of Silva/Disasi/Colwill would be covering the back post. Impressive performance nonetheless.

He also seemed to initially injure it whilst overstretching and picking up that yellow but carried on playing for a while after, which wouldn't be possible to do with a cruciate injury.

They also let Nkunku walk off too.

Really good today Carns, made up for him getting his first goal.

Missed him when he was injured and went off. Was the main link between midfield and Jackson. Think he could be a very important player for us. His touch and control is superb.

Was about to say he could be the surprising breakout player for us this year, don't think any of our wingers can bring what he brings

Nkunku wasn't thought to be too serious at first, although you'd think the physios would have learnt their lesson from that.

Nkunku's knee injury is also a meniscus, which is at least significantly better than a cruciate.

Personally I don't see him as a winger Frankie. I think he will be a 10. Played central between the midfield and front man.

Will be typical if he’s out for the season. 

I suspect we won't know the extent of the injury until he has had scans etc. Probably a day or two. Fingers crossed he isn't out too long, but we haven't had any luck with injuries the past few years.

As expected once given more game time he looks a right player, not just a good touch but also plenty of strength. Injury is a worry, so fingers crossed. Losing both him and Nkunku would really stuff us up.

Him being subbed off and Enzo's pen miss were the turning points of the game. 

We are cursed, I feel so bad for the lad, finally hitting his stride...

Saw a video of him leaving the ground on crutches. He was struggling and looked in a lot of pain. It really didn’t look good at all.

The description of him after sounds exactly the same as Broja did last December after his injury.

Yep, my thoughts too. Bet its an ACL. It's everywhere lately. Not just us but in football general. Don't know if its over playing, the footwear, the pitches, the type of athletes that are bred for the sport nowadays, but something isn't right.

The amount of joint and ligament injuries over the course of the last 12 months is ridiculous.  

This is just sad. Hopefully it is something he can shake off. Looked at bad but we don't know until we know.

If it is another knee injury questions need to be asked about our S&C coaches. Are we overworking players in the gym, underworking them so they're not prepared for the men's game? Something weird with how often this happens at Chelsea.

All clubs seem to suffer from it. Everton have 8 out right now, Villa 9 and Sheffield United 10 for example.

I don't even remember this many from 2000-2018. Something needs to be done, whether its the boots or pitches or what.

I assume we don't play with one. Conor/Caicedo/Enzo in a flat midfield with Caicedo infront of the defence and Enzo/Gallagher and roaming 8's. Two wingers either side of Jackson.

And/or marking their CB. It was left to Gallagher, a height mismatch if ever there were one.

Probably one of the two or a formation change? I think Gallagher could do a job at 10. He is the most dangerous player outside the box from our squad. He really has a shot on him. His vision and ability to control ball is another thing all together.
