Madueke can beat player but his final ball delivery is very poor. Madueke also can't bring others into play.

We played James and Madueke combination a few times last season and It was very difficult for James to get into games. Whereas with Sterling it is easy.If you remember a while ago Cho also had good connection with James. It is the same thing. Connecting other player to the game is a skillset

@RIP Mourinho now I kinda understand why a lot of fans here are unhappy with poch.

If you think that Madueke is close to Sterling level then poch is definitely doing terrible job as a manager.

If Madueke is close to Sterling level it means we are no longer in player development phase. Top 4 should be the bare minimum. Madueke and palmer are kinda the same level. Jackson is maybe slightly better.It means we have 5 attackers already close to Sterling level.

If that is the case then, Poch has no excuse. You should already start questioning whether we should fire poch.

Madueke has a long way to go before he's a top player. He wasn't even posting great numbers in Holland.

 

Seems a good personality though with a good attitude so hopefully he does well.

I thought this was a thread about Carney, who I rate highly. Good to hear he is close to returning to full training. 

Surely we should be talking about carney on this thread

Is correct could that see Carney restored to the 10, Palmer to RW and Sterling up top?

No. Off the bench and I doubt he has even 15 minutes in the tank. Best not to risk him. 

Very fast recovery really. He’s been missed. 

Great to hear he his back. Hopefully the absence hasn’t reduced his sharpness too much. Pace his introduction, but with Palmer starting to influence, it’s nice to have hungry options. And get Enzo deeper. 

Hope to see Carney, Noni and especially Broja get some minutes tomorrow.

Still think if we can get most of our walking wounded back and playing we will have a half decent side.

Agree with @ozboy and @PhilH930. Carney was looking extremely sharp in pre-season and the first two games.

With all the transfer buzz over the summer Carney went a bit under the radar, was rightfully one of the first names on the team sheet at the start of the season. Excited to see him make his return.

The unknown ones annoy me the most. It just drags on and on. I remember the same with Mount last season. He picked up an injury and by the time he returned, the season was over.

I'm frightened to look at how injured players are doing , seems to be players suffer " setbacks" every time I Google our injury list .

He did have a set back. I heard elsewhere he is expected back on the grass shortly. No doubt too long on the grass did his head in.
