There needs to be a massive enquiry into how this is keeps happening here. I'm hoping an enquiry is already underway. I wonder if the players are asking questions themselves, because I would if I was in their position. Their careers are at stake playing for us and I wouldn't be surprised if they look to get away from the club because of this. 4 seasons straight we have had this issue and it gets worse each season.

Matt law mentioned in the recent London is Blue podcast that there is a new supervisor for the medical department, someone very experienced, good cv but he was not allowed to name the person.

February 28, 20242 yr What's up with this guy? Everytime he players 10 minutes of football we don't hear from him for 4 months. Rinse and repeat.

I do agree there needs to be an investigation into the medical staff and playing surface at Cobham, however you have to look at the leagues they now play in. Must almost feel like they're playing at a walking pace in Serie A and Saudi.

Both played in most of they're teams' games this season, when they were with us we'd be lucky to get them fit for half of them.

CHO a couple of goals from cutting in from the Left and he looks good, doubtful he will do it much again as the League forgot about him. Now they are ready. What he did have though was a decent cross he did not use enough, get that aspect right and he might survive in the EPL. Barkley is probably only training (physically) with the team once a week so his body has time to recover, the test with him would be playing twice in a week for several weeks does he stay fit? Might not be a problem at Luton. Personally pleased to see them both having some success.

It is good to see them both playing regularly and playing well, my point is that that they seem to be managed a lot better in terms of recovery in the same league we play in. Neither of them were regular starters for us for the most part and still found themselves in the medical room more often than in the bench.

Barkley is playing in front of the back line in a much less mobile role and CHO has only managed 1300 minutes so far this season so might just beat the average 1800 minutes a season he used to get with us.
March 17, 20242 yr Really excited about this guy. Strong, quick, technical, knows how to finish and makes clever runs. Lets hope the injuries are behind him

He was starting games at the start of the season, I think without that injury that has kept him out most of the year he would have been a huge player for us behind the striker. Offers more final product than Gallagher in that role, for me Gallagher rotates with Caicedo/Enzo now.

I think that with a productive and fit Carney contributing throughout, and with Mudryk and Palmer playing effective roles in the ten position, it really wouldn't surprise me to see Gallagher maybe get sold this summer. If we had an extra year would would probably get more cash in, but it will still be a pure profit bonus for this lot.
March 17, 20242 yr Would like him and Palmer to be two of the three behind Jackson for the Burnley game.
March 18, 20242 yr A fit Carney could be a big player for us. And mean that Gallagher will even more likely be sold.
March 18, 20242 yr Add Lavia into the mix and it gets very competitive in that midfield. If Carney stays fit he is almost certain to be a nailed on starter. So Enzo Caicedo Chuwumeka, or Caiceo Enzo Chukwumeka And you could also imagine next season Caicedo Lavia Chukwumeka There are starting to be a few possibities if the lads stay fit. We haven't seen enough of Chukwumeka to be sure but my feeling has always been he is the real deal.

Dont think he starts over any of the current 3.. yes he has scored a few goals but i dont see him have Enzo's composure or Gallagher's pressing righ now.. i think it will be more sub appearances only for him for now.

He is not a presser any more than Mudryck is, but he makes things happen when we are in possession. Lampard didn't press much either as I recall.
March 18, 20242 yr I'd rather have somebody who creates, scores and presses a bit (Carney) than somebody who doesn't create, doesn't score but presses a lot (Gallagher).

Ramires had that incredible pace for a midfielder. Enzo does have a good passing game. We don’t really know how good carney is but he certainly seems to like getting into the opposition penalty area. I’m keen to see more of him.

In all fairness I think Poch does really like him and it was looking like he was going to be a key player for us this season with Poch playing him as much as Palmer. A shame that the injury derailed things so badly, but very happy to see him back. Really like him as a player
