He had Ozil at Arsenal, and Pedri at Barca. Something to be mindful of when he turns up and becomes a dud.

Kovacic and Kante will be in and out of the team regularly through injury, as they have been a lot of the time in the last few seasons. With that in mind it was even more obvious that we should prioritize signing a midfielder.
