The 343 isn’t going to solve the issue, which is another worry. Or a modified 4231 with Chilwell at LW or w/e. Really don’t want to see that against West Ham like we did against Liverpool.

So many times we saw the 343 to assist our weak and unbalanced midfield. Now that we have a strong midfield we need to be seeing more expansive football.

We don't need to play a 3-4-3 anymore? I see Lavia can be used as cover, we can rotate, we can sometimes play a double pivot of Lavia and Caicedo in games we need to and play Enzo further up. I don't see how this means we'll be playing a 3-4-3.

The Liverpool game we had no DM to play, so we took the safe option as we needed to. I'll be very surprised if Poch starts playing with a 3-4-3 for the majority of the season.

How long do we have to wait until we get to see a midfield of Lavia-Enzo-Caicedo?

I doubt we’ll see it once Nkunku is fit

After the international break i imagine.

max 3 goals a season from those 3 combined.

It can't be purely coincidence we're getting all these injuries.

Are the players being worked too hard? Not adequate rest? Players so young their bodies can't handle the load? Fitness staff aren't up to scratch?

I remember Arsenal used to be a hell hole for injuries from the late 00's to about 2016. We seem to have switched places with them completely in football .

Given we have the worst owner in the league who seems desperate to emulate Wengers later years transfer policy at Arsenal just without the world class manager and in a more competitive league it isn't a surprise.

Younger developing players are always likely to have more injuries than fully developed professionals who have remained consistently avaliable year after year.

I mentioned in another thread my piss in the wind theory is “ The Pitch at Cobham”.

I have no evidence to back this up but something is wrong or cursed at that training ground.

This younger players will be prone to injuries more.

Tbh if he's injured it shouldn't really be a detriment to our midfield. Caicedo and Enzo are fitness monsters and we have Gallagher who's done well so far and on top of that Ugochukwu who is a traditional defensive midfielder.

Medical team went through quite some changes under Bohley so might be why.

According to The Guardian it was a knock during training.
