Well the common factor is the lack of protection from the midfield (and often left-back...) which constantly exposes the centre-backs.

I agree I think Badi is a top young defender let down by poor management and tactics by Poch. Outside of Palmer and Gusto all our signings look poor which tells me it’s more than just player=bad.

He's gone backwards, WHY Poch thought it was a good idea to play him last night i don't know, he's been crap every match he played in, at fault for Sheff Utds 2nd goal and was only on the pitch to defend the freekick, missed the first header and then missed his second chance to clear the ball.

We concede goals galore when he's on the pitch, Arsenal 5-0 (90 mins),Sheff utd 2-2 (6 mins)Burnley 2-2, (90 mins), Man utd 4-3 (90 mins), Villa 1-3 (87 mins), Liverpool 4-1 (90 mins)

What sort of defending was that on the Bournemouth goal?

Yes Cucurella should do better but once he does not how does a week shot heading to Badiashile supposedly stronger foot end up in our Net?

Did he take his eye off the ball? That is a simple block clearance. Had it been on his right foot I would be a touch more forgiving but that is his stronger foot, it is inexcusable he swung at it and put it in our net.

Hopefully Colwill stays fit next season.

I really don't like him as a player at all, he's just a big lump really. 

I don't rate Disasi that highly either but he's got some redeemable qualities. I thought his performances last season were vastly overrated on this forum, @BordeauxBlue was bang on about him from the start. 

Hope we can get rid of him quickly. Crying shame it'll be Chalobah going instead of this guy. 

There's a laziness to his defending. It's not going to work for him if he doesn't cut that out of his game. Even without Silva next season, I would still have Chalobah and Colwill ahead of him. I know it's been hard for him because of injury at the start of the season, but he's been back for a while now and hasn't really impressed much since returning.

I thought he had a decent start under Potter, but was that just the more defensive system protecting him? Because in a more open attacking team, he has really struggled.

We've been playing Chalobah so we can revert into a back 3 when Cucurella inverts, he's a big part of the reason we finished as strongly as we did. The fact they think he's playing there to be a marauding RB is concerning. If this is the garbage you read and form your opinion from i worry for you.

I love Colwill but he does less progressive passes per 90 than Chalobah, so weird to make your point that Chalobah doesn't have a clue what to do on the ball and only passes sideways or back then go and vouch for Levi. Badiashile is also our best passer out from the back too statistically. 

Todd needs to get his Lambo warmed up for a European tour to flog Disasi and Badiashile imo.

 

Next season I would like our CB options to be Colwill, new signing, Fofana (replaced if he gets injured again) and Chalobah.
