After Chilly and Malo carved through Villa time and time again like a hot knife though butter, I see no reason for Sad Sack to start playing centre backs at full back again.

 

This is getting absolutely ridiculous now. Majority of our players can’t even play more than one game before getting injured.

We need Stewart and Winstanley to make a statement regarding why they keep buying these injury riddled players.

This is just mental, even when Poch was clearly trying to be careful with Badi, he still go down

Good point. Winstanley joined in the December apparently. Not sure if he had anything to do with the transfer.

I'd imagine Joe Shields had more to do with a lot of the signings since he came in. Who knows who's actually doing what these days though.

Not sure if Poch is happy with either Colwill or Silva with 2 full backs not good in the air.

Badiashile is a tall, big bloke, they are not, so am wondering if Poch goes 2 average height CBS to replace one big CB.

Chilwell is good in the air.

One of the biggest dissapointments of the season for me. Thought he looked quite promising last season.

He’s been all over the place all year , partially at fault for 2 goals again. As bad as disasi has been, I think he’s been worse.

Him and Disasi are dreadful. ONE of them would b e fine as a 3rd/4th choice CB option. The Alex to a Terry/Carvalho. But not both starting. 

As soon as Colwill is fit we need to give him a good run of games at CB and find him a decent partner. Unless we are hanging our hopes on Fofana somehow staying fit for more than 30 minutes.

Ah Alex was a lot better than he was given credit for.

Unlike Disasi and Badiashile.

He's quite simply not playing. He's just coasting through games with minimal effort. It's like he isn't even trying and expects things to come easily.

We need a forward player with a big presence. These players need somebody in training that will keep them on their toes.

he was shocking .. just so scared and not ready or wanting the ball.. twice we almost conceded because he was not switched on to receive the ball and then made a mistake..

doesn’t look like the guy is ready for this intensity.. injuries haven’t helped but he is so lackadaisical.

Shadow of the player he was last season, Chalobah has to be starting ahead of him

Looked excellent under Potter but has gone massively backwards under Poch. That goes for our defence in general - there just seems to be zero structure, zero organisation and just general chaos.

 

Think the injury did him, not just on the physical side, but when those crunch moment comes he's just not prepared to go for it.

I don't want to see this guy play for us for the rest of the season. Embarrassing defender.
