February 3, 20233 yr I thought the brightest of all the signings tonight. Again that willingness to try something creative and different. He'll need to tighten up his dribbling though. This isn't Holland where you can have the ball a metre in front of you and no defender will take it.

February 4, 20233 yr He gave us the spark in attack the we needed last night. Not great technically talking but dribbled past players and tried to get us going in attack. Him and Fofana were great attacking, imo.

March 25, 20233 yr Good cameo playing for England u21. One goal and two assists in 25 mins. Match also featured Colwill who played well, Badiashile who gave the ball away for the first goal and Manu Kone who played ok. Highlights likely on BBC iplayer Edited March 25, 20233 yr by charierre
March 25, 20233 yr https://www.football.london/international-football/england-u21-player-ratings-madueke-26559863 Noni Madueke - 8 Todd Boehly has a gem here. The Chelsea man came on in the 66th minute, 13 minutes later he had a goal and two assists. Confident and tricky on the ball. Again, like Ramsey, has a shout to start next week. Chelsea are lucky to have him.

He's only played 183 minutes for us so far ... and only 6 of those were in the last 5 weeks !
March 25, 20233 yr He just needs to be utilized properly. Same with Mudryk. He is very talented. I remember when they played Arsenal earlier this season. He came off the bench as he had been injured for a few months and was making his comeback and he genuinely caused that Arsenal defence so many problems. He was such a spark. We need to give him minutes and blend him in. We have two exciting wingers who we should be making the use of. I am actually delighted Arsenal did not get either of the two. Not sure they were linked with Madueke, but he is a very good rotation option for Saka. Make the use of our wingers!
March 25, 20233 yr Btw, England U-21s just smashed a really good (by all accounts) France team that are arguably the best in the world at that level.
March 25, 20233 yr "What the Lord giveth he taketh away .... " (Badiashile was in the French U-21 defence this evening 🙂 )

March 25, 20233 yr Quality player and goes to show the competence of our new board and their level of scouting for the January signings. Sure he could have probably played a bit more for the first team so far, but with young talented players like him its always best to slowly ease in especially as he's coming from a much weaker league
March 25, 20233 yr It's clear we have so much talent in the squad, a complete shame we have a manager that doesn't know how to utilize any of them.

As soon as we go up, all he wants to do is defend that lead. I hope he ends up learning from the Everton game and doesnt resort to that anymore.
March 26, 20233 yr Noni and Mudryk are our two explosive wingers. Both capable of beating defenders for pace, which our other wingers don't offer us. With James and Chilwell working with them they can tuck in more centrally, and then James and Chilwell get the back post goals as well coming in late at the back post like Chilwells goal v Leicester. Potter has to utilise them all at some point, they are four potential WC players right there. If he doesn't it could be his downfall, who knows, he may have big plans for them.

Not sure that will happen this season. I believe Potter has modified the team to be Felix focused, everything tailored to get the best out of him. Until we switch to be more defensive with our subs of late.
