Madueke a direct suggestion of Viveli as per @AdamNewson which is not a shock - he suggested Madueke to Leipzig to replace Nkunku if the latter left last summer.

 

We know who to blame if it doesn’t work out now..

- Ziyech available for transfer this month. 
- Chelsea will listen to offers for Pulisic.

- Chelsea remain in the market for a new midfielder and held talks over a move for Caicedo. 

- There remains the possibility of Chelsea signing a new back-up right-back.

He's clearly a planned like for like replacement for ziyech, who will cost less on the roster officially, and is younger. 

But I just don't see him ever being an upgrade even if he stays fit 

I hope to be very very wrong.

I see quite a bit of negativity around this transfer which is fair when it comes to his history with injurys. Im honestly not sure if hes made for professional football. 

 

Talentwise. PSV had their fair share of talents going to the Premier League. I know the Dutch league is sh*te but still I can usually see if a player has potential to make it in the Premier League. With Bergwijn I knew for sure he wasnt gonna make it, with Wijnaldum I had my doubts and I'm even not sure about Gakpo. For me Madueke is by far the biggest talent we had since Arjen Robben. He scores  left and right from outside the box and dribbles past players with so much ease. 

 

I'm happy with the sell as a club like PSV cant say no to 40 million euros for a player thats injury prone. But if you keep him fit I think thats a huge bargain. Good luck, I hope he succeeds.

Now this could be a medical that genuinely takes over a week to complete if his record is anythig to go by.

He’s a good player

He’s been fit since mid October. So all good now, and he can probably play right wing back.  What’s not to like?

I don't understand why people are assuming we're working on one player at a time, the usual Chelsea sources are adamant we're working on a midfielder
