I think the same applies to most other players too that are off the boil! I've given Badiashile stick but he again was quality early on! I think we should judge when we have a decent manager! Think we will be saying the same thing next April after we sack our next manager😅

It's interesting. Mudryk first appearance, looked quality. Enzo first appearance, looked quality. Badiashile first appearance, looked quality. It's like they turn to sh*t as soon as they spend time under any kind of coaching at Chelsea. Maybe we should actually try and change this dogsh*t style of football we play to a style that suits the players we have. I am hearing that Pochettino may change to a back 3 soon........it's just another body in defence, it doesn't actually change how we play, just like how absolutely nothing has changed with our football when we moved away from the back 3. It's like I have been saying since the start of the season, Pochettino doesn't have his own identity when it comes to tactics. He just does whatever the previous manager was doing before him.

There's a bunch of howlers in that video that are absolutely nothing to do with managers or systems. If we had a winger in the academy playing like that he'd be getting released. Not even worth a loan to the National League LOL.

Na I disagree, he was mustard at the start, sh*t coaching and getting f**ked by teams week in week out does that! You could probably do a similar video for a good few others! Bet if he had an Arsenal shirt on, he’d be one of the first names on their lineups!

Ok I'll give you this one ... he did indeed look very promising in that 9 minute cameo against Liverpool 😂 If we're really lucky, perhaps he'll treat us to another decent 9 minutes before season's end !

Problem is Mod he's looked the same under 3 different managers now. I thought Josh McEachran was going to be a superstar at Chelsea when I watched him under Carlo when he was 17/18. Sometimes it just doesn't work out. You can only give players so many opportunities, they also have to be responsible for what they make of those opportunities. There's only so much a manager can do.

There are a lot of issues in Mudryk's game that will stop him from reaching the top level, but like many players in this squad, if we actually played them to their strengths, we could get more out of them. Why bother signing these players at all if the manager is just going to play them the complete opposite from how they played at their previous club? Madueke and Mudryk came from clubs that were playing quick, direct football, but we expect something different from them here? It's the same with Caicedo, he looks so uncomfortable playing 3, 4, 5 touch, slow football. He wants to receive the ball and move it forward, not get it back under pressure every 10 seconds.

But, look at the 3 managers he's played under! Look, I'm not defending Mudryk per se, I said he was sh*te in my post above. I'm just saying, judge the guy under a quality manager when we get some momentum and consistency and he gets some good game time! I just feel he gets dug out for being crap when a whole host of players are way off it! Caicedo gets away with it with most, and yet Mudryk gets called out!

I don't think you're completely wrong, I'm just growing frustrated with watching Mudryk put in abysmal performances. It's a bit of a coincidence how so many players come here, look good in the early stages then turn crap. We still can't seem to get out of our slow side ways tippy tappy football which is no doubt causing a lot of these problems.

February 6, 20242 yr With Mudryk and all these young raw players with high potential, we have not created an environment in which they will flourish and get close to their ceiling. If you were to put Mudryk, Madueke, Colwill, Gusto, Badiashille, Caicedo, Enzo, Jackson....on and on, individuallly into an established team with some high level players, and seasoned professionals, they would no doubt thrive, as the have less pressure, they senior players to keep them in line, and help them pick up good habits, they have players that have walked their path, that can relate to things off the pitch and on it, they have mentors. We dont have that environment here, our senior players are Thiago Silva, who can only do so much with the language barrier, and has only a short time left. Then we have Sterling, and Chilwell, neither of which ever come across as leaders. Sterling still plays like he is 17, and Chilwell is mostly in the treatment room. Really poor decision to let go of all the players in the 25-32 year bracket. Maybe need to have a look at the free agents market and bring in some experienced heads, and hope for the best. Cant see any of these young players justifying their price tags otherwise.

You have a player taking player 1 v 3 instead of passing backward. You have player going wherever he want as if he is Hazard. His problem has nothing to do with confidence or minutes.

I think it’s not just Mudryk, I think it’s the whole team other than possibly Palmer and Petrovic! Go look at the news of players being overtrained the day before matches etc…. It’s everything to do with coaching! oh and while I said I am not completely defending Mudryk, there was a stint before Christmas where he seemed our biggest attacking threat! We wouldn’t have got past Newcastle without him, and would’ve had a harder job against Arsenal! Do you think it might just be a case of Malouda not getting him into the game?

All his best moves come when he's 1 on 1 with a full back and getting to the byline. How Poch hasn't taught him to stand on the last man and have Enzo firing balls in behind i don't understand.

Yeah I'll Admit He's Been Crap At Times, But A Good Few Of Those Clips There's Zero Movement From Anyone So He's Trying To Create It Himself Because Unlike A Lot Of Our Players Who Are Always Looking To Go Backwards

Instead you have him trying to get into the box and score.
