February 18, 20233 yr f**k! I finished my beer seven minutes into the second half. What a rookie mistake... Someone feign an injury for two minutes so I can run to the fridge

Just because he's barely okay at reflexes and passing the ball around doesn't mean he's a starting GK at Chelsea. Small, weak and not dominating enough. A better and taller goalkeeper wouldn't concede the goal vs Dortmund and the one today. We went from one of the best GKs in the world in Courtois to Kepa. We can buy all the outfield talent we'd like but with a weak GK (and manager), we won't win much. Someone like Sanchez (6'6) would be perfect, but I don't care to see anything from Brighton right now. So you are watching this game and then you feel like Kepa is the reason we play like crap? Ok.

Going forward, we need better, but he's the only reason Potter's draws haven't ended in defeat.

February 18, 20233 yr We’re capable of scoring, given a dozen chances and luck but not 2 goals. So this is either a draw or a defeat now. Potter on borrowed time, this is a full blown crisis, f**king ‘Southampton’ at HOME!, Christ.

I know you hate Potter but that is not true. Yes they won a few cup games. But they lost all but 1 of their league games under Jones.

Any coach with potters record would be sacked but our hands a tied with his contract... Potter might actually be a worse investment than Bakayoko Wonder if they would even looked at Potter if they were looking for a manager right now.....probably not. There are Project Managers and there are 'Project Managers'...a Project Manager Potter is not.

Do cup games not count? They won 5 of 14 games under Jones even beating City in a cul quarterfinal. As opposed to Potter who got knocked out in both cups in the first round without scoring a goal

I'm surpised people were so quick to turn on him after a rough patch, he was world class before AFCON

So let's just go by recent games. An elite GK wouldn't concede the second goal to Fulham, Dortmund or today. If result stays like this that's 3 recent defeats that could have been draws/wins if we had a better GK, the most underrated position of the pitch so it's a big problem not a little one. And when did I say Kepa is making us play like crap? All I said is he's a weak GK and not Chelsea quality.

February 18, 20233 yr Madueke is not ready to start week in weak out.. if he played like this under TT he wouldn’t have survived 6 months.. CHO protected the ball much better created more and yet he was rarely starting..

Our plan is pass to Enzo/Kova, pass it long to a bombing fullback then cross to the middle. Now we have Mount instead of DDF so who knows
February 18, 20233 yr Is this the first time two sides have both made a sub in which they've taken off and sent on two players with the same surname?
