I mean, I'm Potter in until the end of the season, he's shown we can perform well in the Champions League and top 4 is clearly out of reach at this point. Sacking him now wouldn't make much of a difference to our season.

With that being said, I still don't think he's the long term solution for us. He still has the worst win percentage of any Chelsea manager since Roman arrived, despite the club spending over 500m this year. Not to mention the football is still very negative, holding on for narrow wins against mid table opposition. He pretty much just seems like Nuno as a coach, good at organising a defense and playing on the counter, but not much else.

Even the highlight of his 4 months, beating Dortmund, doesn't really compare to our performances against Real Madrid and City under Tuchel, and Potter has better players. But who knows, maybe we'll keep on improving and I'll change my mind.

So if there was an option to keep him till the end of the season I'd vote for that, but long term I'm still Potter out.

You didn't give that option either in the 3rd poll, so i kept it binary.

I still don't think he is the right coach to take us forward, but now that the lingering fear of getting dragged into a relegation battle is gone, there is no reason to panic and change manager now. It's good to get a few wins again, but performances still need to improve a lot. We still aren't playing well and we are riding our luck at times.

Today yes but I disagree with the previous two.

The only luck involved with the Dortmund and Leeds games was on their part that it wasn't more.

I disagree we road our luck today.

Sure you can say that Leicester deflection that hit the bar and Debbie-halls poor miss was lucky, but that all happened after Leicester should have been down to 10 men in minute 2 and Felix did his best to keep them in the game. They had a lot more luck this game than us.

Backed him from day one, with all the crap we’ve had we needed some long term stability, Todd laid out his plans both on and off the field. So many Chelsea fans expecting instant success as per Romans regime not willing to be patient and achieve long term stability.

Still Potter out but am now willing to give him till the end of the season.

8 wins 2 Draws 4 Losses is for me the minimum he should meet to stay in the job.

If he gets us the CL, definite stay till halfway next season

I’ll give the same answer as I did before, with no viable alternatives out there it makes no sense than to do anything other than back him.

I’m still unconvinced that he has the needed bastardry to motivate some of these lads and his subs choices are questionable.

I’ve always been a big believer in staying together as a group and make the best of the situation and hand that you have until you can  pursue a better route.

I think now we have a couple of wins he will stay and get a pre-season and then start well and then go one of these horrible runs where we can't score and it will be curtains for him, I reckon mid December.

Pressure on him will be massively ramped up next season one would imagine. He was a lucky boy to survive that horrendous run and with the owners clearly being prepared to look through the fingers on missing the Champions League. But next season there should be no excuses for him. We need to compete and I hope the owners hold him to that standard.

Think he's been forced into picking what he thinks is his best 15 or so players and sticking with it for a few games... and we've got a few results.

Think he's also been forced into not starting "regulars" who are clearly not worthy of their starting place and that's helped us too.

I think we've bought some really good players but they're going to need a few games together before it gels.

I’ve wanted him sacked for a couple months but it’s clear it’s not gonna happen. The last week has been a bit of an improvement which indicates players haven’t given up which is a positive.

At this stage, probably just give him until the end of the season and assess then.

How many of 'us lot' would still be employed if we performed well at our job one week out of every twelve...?!?

Hate to point out the obvious, but we aren't football managers and our sacking wouldn't cost the company £50m. There's also plenty of people that can replace us in our line of work.
