Villa have basically parked the bus and are just looking to counter when they have the chance. Going behind when playing at home and opposition gives you the bulk of possession, what else should a team be doing ?

In that case another critisism has been we don't create against parked buses, well we are today.

Joker of a manager .. plays football manager day in day out.. every fckin match changes the line up again and again and again.. I don’t know what he is doing and I doubt he knows either… every coach knows their back 4/5 and drills them day in day out to avoid exactly what we saw today.. K2 and C2 running around like strangers to mess up 2 v1 situation. Spare me this as much on the coach then on the player..

Pretty sure Potter not coaching cucarella , a £60m player , to head it back centrally to play in the opposition striker

I know history has conspired to deliver the club into the hands of Todd B & Co. But what a difference dropping the high standards that RA required from managers that bred so much success to an acceptance of mediocrity, which in turn has lead us into mid table territory. Irony at its finest considering TB has already outspent the previous regimes record transfer window sprees. Our competitors in the league must be highly amused at the collapse in form and our league position, we are unfortunately forced to watch the same old bollox most games with GP’s selections & tactics.

We have played them off the park. Created how many very clear chances?  We should be winning.

The brain fart defending and multiple missed chances are costing us

I don't think we have created many clear chances apart from Mydruk. Felix and Havertz  chances were them making something out of nothing.

Villa's been clear through on goal twice and have had one in the woodwork in addition. Ramsay should have put Watkins clean through for a third time but thankfully Koulibaly saved us.

They've had as many good chances as us.

Just going to have to accept that whilst Potter is here, this will be the norm. Loads of chances, 1 nil down, we saw that at Brighton.

I'm not sure what the expectations are anymore. Club seem okay with losing and being midtable.

Guess we will have to get used to this new superior long term thinking.

Played alright but couldve been 3 nil down in 18 minutes.

Even if fans want Potter out, they shouldn’t be booing … if indeed they are. “Ask not what your country can do for you….” kind of thing. Booing not gonna help anyone.

I've practically lost my voice over that first half, and not in a good way...

Havertz putting in a zero out of ten performance so far.

Watch Mudrick get hooked over him anyway.

Also, f**k this ref.

That describes us virtually week in week out. Which equals, we’re sh*t.

Yep. Don't disagree. But if it is happening week in week out, whichever players are selected, that indicates it isn't down to selection of James at RCB

Cucurella is a disaster signing, but instead of playing an actual CB, Potter persists with him. Loftus-Cheek has been awful at RWB, he's not good enough anywhere really, but Potter plays him anyway. Koulibaly hasn't been much better either.

Everybody could see that that back 3 was going to cost us today and it's happened. How can a football coach not see what everybody else can?

And how can a football club owner not see we what anyone we else can?

Totally agree. We made so many chances to lead at least 3-1.

Its not Potter's fault that the attack is on Regional Division Level, the same is for the deffense.

Could you remind me what are the manager's and his training staff responsibilities?

Our finishing is atrocious. We've created chances and should be in lead, that's not on Potter.

The goal conceded though, that's on him and the baffling team selection.

I don't blame the finishing on Potter but he's definitely at fault for the team selection that cost us conceding. Also doesn't help that he keeps persisting with people like Havertz.

yeh indicates it is down to the manager...

We should be winning.

We should have a competent manager, we should have our CB’s playing CB , we should have our world class wing back playing wing back, we should have patterns of play, we should have cohesion but we don’t do we and that’s down to 1 man

Not true.

Mydryk 1v1 - weak ass shot

Mydryk close shot - should have squared to wide open kai who had empty net.

felix f**king up 3 on 2 attack

Chillwell hit post

Goal disallowed weakly
