It will definitely be a sale of a few of the academy lads that hold value at this rate. Can easily see both Mount and James being cashed in. Half of these "senior"players we would struggle to get out of the door anyway just becuase of their wages. I mean who the hell would want Sterling. He's prime West Ham but no way on his wages

It's like selling the crown jewels. Surely they won't.

Just ride the season out. Fresh start in summer, it’s not a good time to hire Pochettino right now.

let some young players play

who gives a f**k anyway about this season

play Slonina in goal

Time to pull a Barcelona and pull some levers? What an admission of incompetence that could be

Those " levers" involved selling their projected future income from TV etc to some Americans in return for cash now. It's really not a great plan.

Yup, so we'll probably do just that !!

We will be 14th. No doubt about it, put your house on it.

I'd be amazed if we get a point between now and the end of the season.

Totally agree. I'm going down Ladbrokes tomoz to put my house on it. Erm....anybody got a spare room. Just in case 😀

I think officially announcing Pochettino can calm a lot of people down. Myself included.

Very sobering.

I remember the trust the process messages at the beginning of the season, We need to regroup, change our identity and if it means a couple of seasons as low as 6th in the league then so be it if we end up better for longer. Jesus i think we'd jump at 10th at the moment.

Ironically had we kept Potter we'd probably be well in the 40s by now by virtue of our defensive record alone.

Seriously why the fck are you still hanging around here. Are you still waiting for your man to find a new home before you eventually sling your hook.

I think there’s a “non” missing in the middle of the name. Imagine this being a pastime.

I cannot think of a single decision these clowns of owners have made that has had any merit. Every decision, even social media soundbite just seems to add to the embarrassment. I just wish they would get on and appoint Pochettino, or in fact, any proper manager now, and then shut the fck up for at least a year. Stay in the US and watch us on the telly.

When I think how good we were before Frank's appointment I could cry.

I wonder if Mr 'TImesuppotter' is still pleased we ditched Potter!?  At least Potter had us competing and (occasionally) winning! 😄 In fact when you watch us now it makes me wonder if Potter was an actual miracle worker getting results out of this shower of sh*te!

Disgraceful unprofessional performance tonight by so called seasoned professionals

Where is the closing down? The pressure on the opponent? When these basics are missing you can’t expect to win a top flight football game. The goals conceded epitomised this, Arsenal players each allowed upto 3 secs to pick a pass on the first goal not once but twelve passes. Professional pride is lacking in this group.
Frank for his part doesn’t escape criticism, Sterling, Kovacic and Auba not being hooked in the first half sent a message to the rest he wasn’t really bothered at this stage. He never has been great at tactics and must now consider his material career. His subs when they came were weird, Ziyech and Chalobah, really?
Madueke and Mudryk at least showed some bright moments as did Silva who still has some pride. The rest though are possibly the most unlikeable group of players we have had for a long time, mercenaries each and every one with no care for the badge.

We need the new coach announcing this week. The process has taken far too long and is seriously hurting the club.

I thought the Potter sacking was understandable.

That said, it honestly couldn't be worse than now.

We're on Page 25. We all give a fck when the game is on. Bad enough getting our arses handed to us by the gooners, but Bournemouth...again. Dear god.

This is such a mess. I find it incredible how most people seem to think that this is just an isolated bad season and that a new manager will see us suddenly be good again.

I actually believe that next season will feel worse than this. This disaster was not expected and has felt quite surreal. Almost like an out of body experience. But next season will be an awful slog as we struggle to an eighth or ninth place finish and without the distraction of CL football. Even with my optimistic hat on, we are three or four years away from even being top four material again.

I guess he couldn't complain given his overall record but to do it (without an immediate succession plan) just as we were starting to get some rhythm in our play was utterly bonkers.

Nothing to do with the coaching, it's a team of 11 professionals who have played at the highest level.

How can the coach be blamed for a player not running or being able to make a 5 yard pass. We get it you don't like Lampard, he's a sh*t manager.

This team is broken and it will still be broken when he leaves in a few weeks.

The players are absolute cowards

Blame the manager, sack manager, blame players, sack manager, blame players……rinse and repeat.

Professional footballers can’t play a simple pass but it’s the managers fault.

f**k it, sack him.

Didn't watch the 2nd half, have  watched a clip of the lad with the bandana's goal. Personally want to thank him because I got 3 points in my SuperBru prediction of 3-1. The glass is half full for me !

p.s. is is feasible if the war ended in Ukraine that RA could buy the club back ? Just a thought bc these Septics will eventually get us relegated to mid - bottom EPL - championship fodder at this rate FFS.

One of the current top 4 teams (and even ourselves last season to an extent) are case studies as what difference a top coach makes.

9 of the 11 starters for Newcastle against Spurs when they went 5 up in 20 minutes were there under Bruce.

clearly there is no way to salvage this season

the only useful thing to do would be to give some young players some minutes

Slonina could make his debut without pressure

we all expect to lose anyway
