So it's Pochettino...and now officially gone!

As an Austrian, I'm currently watching the game, and we're performing better. Kai Havertz is just as ineffective at left back as he is as a center forward.

Second Striker, Striker, False 9, Winger, #8, LCM, CAM, and now LB.

Ineffective in everything.

I wonder at what point it's just accepted he's never going to be as good as people thought he would be

Havertz is a classic example of having invested so much in the player that everyone is now afraid to admit that they were wrong and he's just an average run-of-the-mill player.

Classic case of Emperor's New Clothes.

Sadly, I feel Mudryk might be another one ... 😞

Could be true .. buts let’s give him the same amount of chances and patience.. Havertz played almost every game for the better part of the last 2 years .. let’s do that with Mudryk..

Well he hasn't been tried at goalkeeper, so joke's on us

Kai is imo a jack of all trade master of none type player. Perfect player for manager like TT who want his attacker to be able to do everything.

Thank f**k we didn't get Nagelsmann.

Would've seen sh*t like Palmer and Jackson at wingbacks.

TT played Nkunku I think at WB

Potter played Sterling 🤭🤭🤭 our best attacker at wb

Havertz will do well in Spain or back in Germany. He’s a classic case of not being cut out for the EPL.

Any club spunking 70m plus from someone from the Bundesliga has to do their homework as we’ve found out. It’s not a great league. It has and has had some fantastic players over the last 20 years that have done well in England. Ballack would be a great example but far too many Werner’s and Havertz’s. Even Sancho at Utd before his fall out has been utter mince.

Take away Dortmund and Bayern and the standard isn’t brilliant. Leverkusen must have thought we were mad.

Clubs just need to their homework better. I don't think it's a coincidence that the successes are strong physically and the failures are skinny with a lack of any physical traits to their game. Haaland, De Bruyne, Ballack, strong, powerful, with quality on the ball to match. Werner, Pulisic, Schurrle, Havertz, Sancho, they're just too skinny and weak, they can't keep up with the physical side of the game. This is one of the reasons why I am more confident in Nkunku being a success, his build is more suited to the Premier League.

Not sure Kai problem is physical though. He is not strong enough for a st but he was not signed to be one. For an am, he is more than good enough.

Imo Kai is a talent developer dream. He has so many good attributes but he lack that elite trait/skillset. If you can get him to just take that one step, you can have a monster player in your hand.

He is tall, good physically but not elite, good technically but not elite, good speed but not elite, good movement but not elite, you can continue doing this for almost everything

Havertz has a massive problem with physicality. He's not particularly strong, I've seen him outmuscled countless times. It's not just his strength either, being physical is more than just how strong you are. He doesn't run enough, he doesn't put enough effort into forcing things to happen. It happened with us and it's happening at Arsenal too. He doesn't get involved enough, rarely puts power into his shots and passes, and doesn't make things tough for defenders. The only aggression I see from Havertz is when a defender gets under his skin.

Most Premier League defenders will have an easy time with Havertz because he lacks the physical traits needed. All Premier League defenders need the physical traits that Havertz lacks, and it's why they almost always get the better of him.

Not sure how a thread about Pochettino has turned into a discussion of Kai havertz a player Poch has never managed, but what would I know.
as nkunku comes to fitness I presume he will play. Initially I I think he will get some minutes on the left wing, but is that his longer term slot. In the end it still seems like one of the midfield theee will have to give way and also face competition from Lavia. It’s still possible to hope the balance of the season can be good for us. Sit deep and then attack with purpose.

Luckily for Mudryk he has raw athleticism so worse case scenario he can get a run out against tired legs.

Havertz was different because for 90% of the games he'd offer nothing. Zero pace/strength etc. When he wasn't scoring, my god he was painful to watch. Love watching it in an Arsenal shirt though.

9 goals conceded in the last 3 matches.

A certain 40 year old is starting.

We are conceding the same cross field goal with no one marking dick.

Poch will go to a back 3 and start Mudryk up front with Jackson, a poor man's Son+Kane in order to save himself.

Defence is now a larger concern than our attack. We can’t score against small teams and can’t defend against big teams. This means we are barely going to get wins and our best results will be draws. Needs to be sorted asap.

Even under Potter we looked organized in defence. I don't know what the f**k I am watching now.

You'd think after we somehow did the impossible in being outnumbered against a 9 man Spurs in a set piece, Poch and his team would make it a priority to work on defending crosses in training. NOPE.
