One thing that I’m pleased about with Poch is that our record in big games appears to be improving. Unbeaten against Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs now.

You really had to say this one day before we play Manchester City?

All the people slagging Poch off before the Tottenham game, but no manager has ever had the balls to go after Anthony Taylor like that after a game, full on respect to him.

Win me over today, not just because he showed he hates Taylor, same as us. But he got pretty much everything bang on today. Initial team selection, then got the subs right. Only mistake he made was not covering for Cucurella who was being isolated too often.

But great seeing him give Taylor some verbals.

This is exactly how I think it should be, play openly and play for goals and make a team work week by week while the consequences of that are very evident.

Poch is like Sarri, he wants to play football. Yes it takes time to make a team that wants to play football work but it's worth it.

We are on the right path.

I "liked" your post for the bits in bold. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and pretend the other bit of it doesn't exist LOL

Sorry to point out the unpopular truths here and there

I need more to be convinced. Games against City, Spurs, Arsenal et AL are very important, but we face far more sides like Brentford, Forest and Bournemouth and it was grinding out wins against those sides, or blitzing them all together, that won Jose, Carlo and Antonio titles.

Motivating players to prove themselves against the best is one thing, it is completely another to bring that same hunger, that same desire, for a wet evening game in Nottingham or a game in an old shack of a stadium like Luton against sides they feel they can just show up and beat.

Show me that consistently, then I will hold my hands up and say I was wrong.

And I want to be proven wrong, I want long term manager that wins us the league and European titles.

This is the big test. How do we consistently win these small games against defensive teams?

His efforts are starting to pay off, with a bit of luck we should have got 9 points against Arsenal, Spurs and City. The pre-season hard work is paying dividends, we wouldn't have lasted 70 minutes last year with the way we played. He was brave throwing on another striker, you don't see teams play against City like that much

Good for him giving it to Taylor. How that guy keeps getting reffing opportunities for our games I'll never know. There's always a controversial decision when he refs our games.
