It’s a bit of a no win game this. Win and it’s means nothing as Poch will likely make changes that will never be used in a league game and Brighton will also field a much changed side rendering it little more than a pre season exhibition game. Lose, and we will take even more of a kicking from the press, rival fans will actually explode with laughter and the sense of crisis will grow stronger.

Whatever happens tonight, I hope Mudryk gets his first full 90 minutes, and I hope Madueke and Palmer get starts as well.

Great game to give some new faces a chance. Interesting to see Petrovic play. Hoping to see Broja play the last 20-30mins. Good to see Ugochugwu again. He looked solid.

Mudryk playing a full 90? I'm sure that's against the law.

Assuming Chalobah isn't available, if he is he should start at RB. I appreciate that this probably wouldn't be the best use of Palmer, nor do I think Chilwell and Mudryk would necessarily be a natural partnership on the left.

Does Brighton have any debutants or players on a goal drought that need a change in fortunes?  Asking for a friend that wants to place a bet.

I love how we go from 3 left backs on the bench to playing all 3 in one game!  I assume Disasi is right full back, and Cucurella is playing left center back?  This is a confusing line up.

 

Poch really took the criticism about not playing a proper LB to heart

Went from 3 LBs on the bench v Villa to starting 3 v Brighton. I hope he is playing one of Chiwell or Cucurella as a RB, and not playing Cucurella as a CB.

Is he playing Maatsen as a “10”?

My guess is Mudryk right wing back and Maatsen part of front three
