September 27, 20232 yr It’s a bit of a no win game this. Win and it’s means nothing as Poch will likely make changes that will never be used in a league game and Brighton will also field a much changed side rendering it little more than a pre season exhibition game. Lose, and we will take even more of a kicking from the press, rival fans will actually explode with laughter and the sense of crisis will grow stronger.
September 27, 20232 yr Whatever happens tonight, I hope Mudryk gets his first full 90 minutes, and I hope Madueke and Palmer get starts as well.
September 27, 20232 yr Great game to give some new faces a chance. Interesting to see Petrovic play. Hoping to see Broja play the last 20-30mins. Good to see Ugochugwu again. He looked solid.

September 27, 20232 yr I’m calling it. We’ll win 1 - 0, penalty goal which will be our only shot on target. Petrovic with 46 saves and win MOTM.

September 27, 20232 yr Assuming Chalobah isn't available, if he is he should start at RB. I appreciate that this probably wouldn't be the best use of Palmer, nor do I think Chilwell and Mudryk would necessarily be a natural partnership on the left. Petrović Caicedo Disasi Colwill Chilwell Ugochukwu Gallagher Palmer Mudryk Broja/Washington Jackson

September 27, 20232 yr Does Brighton have any debutants or players on a goal drought that need a change in fortunes? Asking for a friend that wants to place a bet.
September 27, 20232 yr Maybe now that we have a sponsor we will turn our fortunes around oh who am I kidding we'll probably lose this and at the weekend.

September 27, 20232 yr I love how we go from 3 left backs on the bench to playing all 3 in one game! I assume Disasi is right full back, and Cucurella is playing left center back? This is a confusing line up.
September 27, 20232 yr Chelsea XI vs Brighton: Sanchez, Disasi, Colwill, Cucurella, Chilwell (c), Ugochukwu, Caicedo, Mudryk, Palmer, Maatsen, Jackson Substitutes: Petrovic, Brooking, Gilchrist, Enzo, Gallagher, Matos, Sterling, Broja, Washington Went from 3 LBs on the bench v Villa to starting 3 v Brighton. I hope he is playing one of Chiwell or Cucurella as a RB, and not playing Cucurella as a CB. Is he playing Maatsen as a “10”? Edited September 27, 20232 yr by ducavis
